Quick update on the Accu-Sim Legacy RG550

    Hello everyone,

We wanted to give you a quick update on the Accu-Sim Legacy RG550. Development is progressing well, and we're now targeting a Q3 2026 release.

Over the past few months, Scott has made several trips back to the real aircraft to answer questions from the team. What starts as a quick trip to record a sound or verify a detail often ends with a familiar message:

    "Guys, I just realized something..."

That "something" usually turns into another sound, another system behavior, or another little quirk of the aircraft that we want to bring into the simulation.

None of these discoveries have been major on their own, but they've added up, and the Accu-Sim Legacy is better for it. One of the advantages of owning and operating the aircraft you're simulating is that you never stop learning about it. Weeks, months, and even years of real-world experience continue to reveal new details, behaviors, and nuances, and each one is an opportunity to make the simulation even more authentic.

We're excited about what these additions bring to the Legacy and look forward to showing you more as development continues.

    Thanks,

    Lewis - A2A Simulations

    LVFR Airbus 380 released

Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

This is a dedicated FS2024 release, not a port. The aircraft has been rebuilt from the ground up to leverage the
simulator's new rendering and simulation capabilities, delivering visual and aerodynamic fidelity that was simply not
    possible before.

Advanced paint & clearcoat rendering The fuselage uses FS2024's native clearcoat system with a paint-flake detail layer and real-time rain response, giving the aircraft a lifelike painted-metal appearance that reacts to light and weather.

Working windshield wipers with rain clearing Rain droplets form on the windshield and clear dynamically under the wiper blades, visible from both the cockpit and external views, at correct slow and fast
    speeds.

Progressive weathering system The aircraft accumulates wear across flights. Brake dust builds on the belly underside, exhaust soot streaks the wings behind each nacelle, hydraulic fluid marks the pylons and flap tracks, and tyre wear darkens the wheels over time. Three independent dirt channels drive this, so each
type of wear evolves at its own pace.

Leading edge erosion Wings, slats, engine inlets and tail surfaces show realistic paint erosion and bare metal -- the hallmark of a hard-working widebody.

Icing & snow accumulation Structural ice builds on the leading edges in icing conditions. Snow settles on the upper surfaces when parked sub-zero and melts naturally as temperatures rise.

Emirates desert dust On UAE variants, fine sand gradually coats the upper fuselage, wings and nacelle tops to reflect real-world desert operations out of Dubai.

Native CFD aerodynamics Real-time computational fluid dynamics model the entire airframe, including all four engine nacelles, for accurate lift, drag and airflow behaviour across the flight envelope.

FS2024 Career Mode compatible Fully certified for Career Mode airline operations, passing all Initialization, Specialization and Equipment checks for scheduled commercial service.

As an evolution of the F28 turbojet regional airliner series, the F70 and F100 developed into stretched and modernised versions, targeted at the crowded, yet lucrative, modern regional jet market. First taking to the skies in 1986 and entering airline service in 1988, the F100 proved to be popular, serving many airlines all around the globe, from small charter airlines to flag carriers. The F70 followed, a direct descendant of the larger F100 with a 4.62m (15.2ft) shorter fuselage, which first took to the skies in 1993.

The aircraft offer a higher seating capacity, greater efficiency and improved performance over their predecessors, whilst still being optimised for short to medium haul routes. With a maximum range of over 1,500 miles (2,414 km) and a state-of-the-art glass cockpit and avionics suite, the F70 and F100 remain strong competitors against even the larger aircraft types operated by mainline carriers.

The Just Flight F70 Professional and F100 Professional for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024 are complex, high-fidelity simulations of the F70 and F100 regional jets, built upon half a decade of development work utilising an incredible amount of reference material and hands-on experience with multiple examples of the real aircraft, and a testing team comprised of F70 and F100 pilots and engineers.
