    Description

    My upgrade to the stock airport for Branson Airport. Handcrafted Terminals, and Hanger to match as close to possible what is currently at the airport today.  I will be updating as I get more information on details.  

    My plan is to model the inside of the terminal as it has a very unique look.

    Branson Airport (IATA: BKG, ICAO: KBBG) is a public-use airport located approximately 10 miles south of Branson, Missouri, in Hollister. Opened on May 11, 2009, it serves as a convenient gateway for travelers visiting the Branson area, which is known for its entertainment and recreational offerings.

    Branson Airport features a 7,140-foot runway (14/32) and a 58,000-square-foot terminal designed to accommodate up to 1.4 million passengers annually.  Currently, the airport is primarily served by Sun Country Airlines, which operates seasonal nonstop flights between Branson and Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP). Historically, other airlines such as AirTran Airways, Frontier Airlines, and Southwest Airlines have also provided service at the airport.

    Branson Airport is situated in the scenic Ozark Mountains, making it an attractive entry point for tourists.

    Love your airports, always very well done and accurate (I should know, I've been to several of them, BBG is my secondary home airport). I really wish you'd do PLK, and especially FWB (my primary home airport). I've tried improving both, but I'm not too good at it. One note on BBG, the runway seems too low, the threshold of 14 should be 1255, and 32 should be 1302. The terrain on approach to 32 in particular is way too close compared to real life. There's also a small hill east of taxiway A with a windsock on it.

    another great looking airport but have to ask again is there anything you can do with not using the Ethnicfs Vegetation library because that has not been update for MSFS 2024 and it looks really out of place when the seasons change.

    Very nice rendition. I think you've captured it well. It's a neat little airport on top of the hill, but I stay away from it due to the fees IRL and use the smaller field, Clark, that's closer to town. :-)
