KADM - Ardmore Municipal Airport, Ardmore Oklahoma, USA - Image 1

    Description

Enhancement to the stock scenery for KADM in Ardmore, OK.  All building are handcrafted to match as closely to what is currently on site at the airport today.

Ardmore Municipal Airport (KADM), located about 12 miles northeast of Ardmore, Oklahoma, is a public airport serving southern Oklahoma and surrounding areas. Originally constructed in the early 1940s as Ardmore Army Airfield, it played a significant role during World War II as a training base for the U.S. Army Air Forces, primarily for bomber crews. After the war, the airfield was deactivated and later transferred to local control, evolving into Ardmore’s current municipal airport.

Today, KADM serves as a general aviation hub with a 9,002-foot runway, capable of accommodating a wide range of aircraft. It is a strategic regional asset for private pilots, corporate aviation, and freight services.

Additionally, KADM is home to a variety of aviation-related businesses, and its proximity to the I-35 corridor makes it an accessible and practical airport for travelers and businesses alike.

Thank you so much for giving us Ardmore (KADM)!

Is there a chance you could make Chickasha, Oklahoma (KCHK) for MSSFS?
    Many thanks in advance!

FS2024's satellite imagery has the new taxiway that goes all the way to the end, plus where they narrowed the main ramp and some other odds and ends, if you plan to update this one!

In the current day, they've dug up the old runway, began adding another new taxiway, and all kinds of mess, but the imagery doesn't show that yet. I'm not sure what they're going for,

Hey, Thanks for the heads up. It appears the satellite photo has been updated since I created it. I will added to my list to update, as it seems even the parking is off quite a bit. Do you know if the only dug up the old runway half way or the entire thing?
