Description
This is an update to South Arkansas Regional Airport at Goodwin Field, which in the orginial form there are no buildings.
The Terminal and all 22 hangars are all handcrafted to match as close as possible to what is currently at the airport.
South Arkansas Regional Airport at Goodwin Field (ELD) is a city-owned commercial service airport located 8 miles west of El Dorado, Arkansas. The airport has two runways - Runway 4-22 which is the primary runway at 6,601 feet long, and Runway 13-31 which is the crosswind runway at 5,100 feet long.
The airport is served by a fixed-base operator (FBO) that provides 100LL avgas and Jet A fuel, as well as other services like a pilot's lounge, conference facilities, courtesy cars, rental cars, and high-speed WiFi. The airport also has an on-field A&P mechanic available.
Scheduled commercial airline service is offered to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) through Southern Airways Express.
The South Arkansas Regional Airport is categorized as a general aviation airport by the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems, as it does not meet the 2,500 annual enplanements threshold to be considered a commercial service airport. However, it does accommodate corporate flight departments and other general aviation traffic, including the Murphy's USA terminal.
More updates to come as I get more details about the airport.
