FlyByWire A32NX

The FlyByWire A32NX is a remarkable open-source add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator, offering a high-fidelity simulation of the Airbus A320neo. This project, driven by a passionate community, aims to create the most realistic representation of the A320neo possible within the flight simulation environment, and it's offered completely free of charge.

Key features of the A32NX include an accurately modeled flight model, meticulously developed in collaboration with A320 pilots. The flight model aims to replicate the real-world performance and handling characteristics of the Airbus A320neo, based on detailed data and operational manuals. This includes precise simulation of various hardware components like the CFM LEAP 1A-26 engine, Honeywell systems (including the flight management system, radio altimeter, and traffic alert and collision avoidance system), and the auxiliary power unit.

The A32NX also boasts a comprehensive Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), an integrated tablet offering a variety of tools and performance calculators. Alongside this, the add-on features a fully custom sound pack, providing an immersive auditory experience that enhances the realism of the simulation. Additionally, the aircraft integrates smoothly with SimBrief, allowing for efficient flight plan creation and entry.
