The A32NX Project is a community driven open source project to create a free Airbus A320neo in Microsoft Flight Simulator that is as close to reality as possible. It aims to enhance the default A320neo by improving the systems depth and functionality to bring it up to the best A320neo simulation, all for free. ninety five percent of my time on MSFS2020 is spent on FBW a3nx. I love flying this airplane.

Beautiful sound design

Fantastic work

THX for the plane, THX for the always helpful community on discord, and most importand THX to all devs and contributors!

Really enjoy flying it, great work. I notice that during taxi and takeoff it is really hard to control though and the plane kind of slips by itself. Any suggestions on how to solve this? thanks!

I'm kind of having a issue I'm playing with a Xbox one gamepad with the a32nx and there's a slight delay when I increase and decrease the throttle and i think it goes a bit to fast i want the throttle to be like the asobo a320 is there any way i can do that?

Awesome Team,

I love to fly anytime with A320Neo.

Best Team in my opinion, for free Apk and there comeing most

every week new updates.

Good Luck to FlybyWire Team

The level of detail is great but it is so detailed that it is almost boring trying to get through the entire checklist. After going through the checklist, the engines won't start and I have never had this problem with any other aircraft. After multiple restarts, I gave up. The Asobo A32X isn't great but the FBW model just isn't worth the hype.

Further, it doesn't work with the Saitek X52 at all- the engines just stay in reverse until you take it full throttle.

I want to like this so much but I finally uninstalled it after spending over an hour trying to work out the issues.

Please make it work with MSFS flight plans... I do not like simbrief.

When I am gonna make a flight sometimes I set 40%-50% fuel before I spawn the plane and then I spawn woth 20% fuel and when I use the flypad to get more it just resets to 20% and I lose fuel very quick.

I love the model but the problem for me is the taxiing, I have calibrated my throttle to the proper settings but it seems that the aircraft whenever I turn my engines on and begin to taxi the aircraft begins to roll super fast at idle and i have to brake a lot all the time when taxiing. Sometimes just on idle i can reach speeds up to 40 knots. I have never experienced that on any other aircraft in game.

Amazing improvement over the default A320.

I wanted to say I heard many good things about the FlyByWire A320NX Improvement! But There is one thing I wanted to ask about. When I load into the FlyByWire A320NX, I go to turn on my batteries and it will stay at 0.0. And my PFD will not turn on (I aligned it and tried everything). I don't know if this is because of what flight model I am using, or if im not using the correct checklist. If you could help that would be awesome.

This is one of the best freeware aircraft you'll find for MSFS. Can't say enough about this bird and the team that developed it. Thank you!

TELEX prompt when loading

I get stuck at the loading screen asking me if I want to enable it yes/no and I get no cursor or anything to click on it. And it would just sit in the loading screen.

Improvement Suggestions

  • Could you please make the aircraft roll forward by itself at idle on the ground as it does irl?
  • Also working wipers that actually visually wipe away the rain would be nice as they are currently pointless for actually improving visibility.
  • Also working rain repellent would be nice. You could probably do the wipers and rain repellent with custom windshield effects.
  • Also implementing a failure (if possible) where the nose gear turns to 90° that can be toggled would be nice.

Awesome plane but the throttle levers move way too fast! I'll hold my throttle up button for literally a second and my throttle is already all the way up.

also we have some problem with the rudder it either goes right when i start in the sim and when i turn my joystick to go to the left rudder it doesn't go and when i restart it goes to full left rudder and I cant make it back to normal however the rudder pedals DO work please fix this

Map Radar AIDRS malfunction:

Hey so i have been using this addon for a while and I love it although startup is complicated lol anyways I having trouble with the map on the EFIS display it doesn't show the heading even tho I set the AIDRS to NAV and did the full startup tutorial on youtube pls help

I so miss the terrain radar. For some reason Salty doesn't think it's of particular use, so was disheartened to see the A32NX integrated with Salty and losing this feature, along with weather radar. No radar sucks. Was just landing in an unfamiliar approach in low vis and flew straight into the side of a mountain with no radar to warn me it was about to pop up out of the fog at the last second.

I hope that between FBW an Salty, they can maybe find a way to reactivate this feature in the future. If I were to go over to the Fenix aircraft, radar would be the primary reason why.

Frequently Asked

Questions? Find your solution here.

When will it release?
The project is an ongoing rolling release.
When is the next update?

Due to the community-driven nature of our projects, we do not enforce delivery timelines on our volunteer developers. We value high-quality, polished releases over frequent and quickly-released ones, which means some features might take time to land in a publicly-available build. Rest assured that our developers and contributors are working hard on making every FlyByWire project as bug-free and feature-complete as possible, but that we are not able to provide release dates or estimates for a certain feature/fix. We will announce each Stable build update via discord and our social media: FacebookTwitter.

How do I join the team?
How do we report bugs?
Report bugs to us in the Discord server, under the #help channel, or by creating a GitHub issue. Just make sure to search for existing issues first before creating a new one.
I can't access the INIT B?

If you spawned on the runway, or you have turned your engines on, you will no longer be able to access the INIT B page. FUEL PRED is used after engine start.

What are the liveries available?

Liveries working for the default A320neo will not be compatible with the A32NX. We recommend downloading your liveries from this flightsim.to page.

Why is my version not the same as what I see others using?

We have three versions, Stable, Development (Master) and Experimental. The Stable version is a 'snapshot' of the development which we regard as stable with the current version of the simulator. The Development build is updated daily and is a constant work in progress and although we test each update thoroughly, minor issues may occur from time to time.

The autopilot, FADEC, and/or electrical systems doesn't start or behave erratically. How to solve this?

In rare cases the Autopilot, FADEC and electrical systems may not start or behave erratically. This is in part due to UTF-8 language support beta not enabled on your machine.

1. Open Windows Control Panel -> Region

2. Go to the Administrative tab and click Change system locale

3. Make sure the check mark next to Beta: Use UTF-8 for worldwide language support is selected

4. Click OK and restart your computer

What is the appropriate Simbrief airframe to use for the A32NX?

Our updated SimBrief airframe for the A32NX with correct weights is available here. This is a new airframe based on our updated flight model, and will always be kept up-to-date.

Will it have X feature?

The FBW rule of thumb is: If it's in the real aircraft, it'll be there.

What is FBW goals?

FlyByWire Simulations have set goals for future development. The goals are into three categories in the following order: normal operations, abnormal operations, and variants. It is noted that these are the goals in the order of priority right now.

Normal operations: we want to achieve at or above 95% of the normal real-life operations. This goal includes a complete flight management system with an accurate LNAV and VNAV, a realistic representation of avionics, sounds, and finally, some rudimentary maintenance system.

Abnormal operations: we want to introduce failures, advanced maintenance systems, and individual part simulation. The abnormal operations will include simulation of individual circuit breakers and hydraulic system parts—furthermore, advanced breakage and services, and finally, stress-based failures.

Variants: we want to produce different engines and airframe variants of the A320neo. The variants highly depend on the data available to us. Multiple models are currently under consideration.
