I'm pleased to introduce my 4th custom created airport, Highland Co. Airport (KHOC) nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of southern Ohio. There are several enhancements, fixes and additions that I have made to this airport over default. Check out all the features below so you don't miss a thing. Its once again my pleasure to create this scenery for the community. Thank you again for all the continued support! Enjoy :)

3D Custom Buildings (Created in Blender) using reference photos:

• - FBO - 3 Orange Roof hangars - 6th Hangar - Airport Office - Sheds - Power Station - 

3D Custom Objects (Created in Blender) using reference photos:

• – Highland Co. Airport Sign - Airport Office Awning - 6th Hangar fence 

Reworks, Fixes and Additions:

•  Ramp / Runway / Taxiways:
  • Corrected RWY numbers and markings to match real life airport
  • All surfaces are retextured with color and material surfaces to match real airport 
  • Adjusted Rwy 23 PAPI Glidepath to match real life 4 deg approach angle
  • Added missing Runway / Taxiway signage, corrected ones that already existed
  • Adjustments to lighting
•  Trees / Vegetation / Grass / Terrain:
  • Adjusted and reduced tree heights that interfered with normal approaches to both runways
  • Added missing creek / marshlands surrounding the RWY 23 Approach end
  • Eliminated all “Baked in” imagery of roofs from buildings being shown as grass
  • Reduced overexposed ground imagery in surrounding fields
  • Eliminated several pure white grass spots throughout airport area
  • Added rolling hill to side of runway to match close to real airport
  • Added shrub line that runs alongside runway
  • Slight terrain adjustments within airport property
• Misc:
  • Added Sewage Plant area on RWY 5 approach end (Asobo Assets Only)
  • Retextured select roads surrounding airport to a darker color
  • Added Airport Perimeter fence

Inside Parking Guide (below): **note: any aircraft larger than listed for each spot may clip into buildings or objects if you are concerned about immersion*

  • Ramp 1-2: Baron or less
• FBO Parking:
  • Ramp 3: CJ4 / King Air or less
  • Ramp 4: Baron or less
• Open Air Orange Hanger:
  • Ramp 5-7: Baron or less
• T-Hangar:
  •  Ramp 8: C172 or less
  •  Ramp 9: Bonanza or less
• Large Orange Hangar:
  •  Ramp 10: King Air / TBM / Caravan or less
  •  Ramp 11: Baron or less

To Install: 

Download the file. Unzip the folder and place the "embcreations-airport-khoc-highlandco" folder into your MSFS community folder and enjoy!
