Description
Erie is a small city on the coast of Lake Erie, which is on the midway between Cleveland and Buffalo and close to the border between US and Canada. This mod upgraded the stock airport with the work done below:
- Runways are replaced with precisely calibrated position, orientation, vertical profile, VASI/PAPI and ILS
- Handcrafted terminal and several hangars
- Some of the small huts missing are added
- Adjusted parking arrangement based on aerial images and dirgrams
The very beautiful USA and Pennsylvania flag is adapted from Windy Things Library, while I added the flag of "Don't Give Up the Ship". Please download the library separately to let them appear in the sim.

Great add-on. I grew up in Erie.
In a future update could you add a couple of parking spots in front of the larger North Coast Air hangers to the east of the main building?
Also, does anyone know what prop planes Piedmont used to fly out of KERI in the 80's? Specifically the Erie to D.C. route?

I'm flying for Piedmont in real life and we are still going to KERI from KCLT but now with the EMB-145 (and yes, we used to fly the Dash-8 back then)...

I did my private pilot training at KERI so like the updated airport. I stream VR for MSFS and when preparing I did notice that the taxiway ribbons do not show even though I have them enabled but in the default airport they show. Is there a reason for this? Thanks for your efforts.

From my recent experience, this problem is somehow random, which means taxi ribbons may fail to appear for some airports, regardless of the type (built-in or addon)

He has already taken care of the expanded ramp and eliminated center taxiway in this new version. I sent him info on the new bridge. I'll try to get pics of the new rental car area too.

Your work is brilliant! So much better than the default and adds new life to this little airport. A few things to note that I don't think satellite imagery has picked up quite yet; they have recently extended the terminal ramp and removed taxiway E which is the middle taxiway that leads up to the gates, they have also added a fourth jet bridge between original bridges 2 and 3, and lastly they have constructed a new car rental area just to the west of the main building. The last thing I can think of is the brick is a tad bit more red than the main building, but I'm not trying to be picky this is a massive improvement on the default scenery! Looking forward to flying in and out of here more often and any updates you put forth!

Please do not get me wrong! This is 100% attractive work. Would love it if the responsible airport authority or governing agency would update the airport to match this wonderfully appearing work by kychungdotcom. The actual real life airport badly needs an update! Currently today's KERI could be used as a movie setting for a movie from way back in time!
