Those built-in instrument procedures for Hong Kong (Chek Lap Kok) Intl. Airport (VHHH) are somehow broken, or not being implemented as what they really mean. For those who have purchased the payware scenery by WFSS, the instrument procedures are pretty broken as most of the Terminal Waypoints have been excluded (at least on my machine). The purpose of this addon is to renew and implement those broken instrument procedures.

Limitations:

• Although instrument procedures for the new north runway (07L/25R) are implemented, but it doesn't work with the built-in airport as the runway doesn't exist.
• Currently MSFS only supports "Max. Speed Limit", which means other speed constraints (Min / At / Between) are not supported so some of the speed constraints coded are not exactly what they mean. Only the maximum limit is applied for "Between" limits and "Min" limits have been ignored.
• All the SIDs, STARs and feed-in routes for instrument approaches are RNAV based, which means radar vectors from ATC are expected for those old aircraft without RNAV capabilities.

Cautions:

• Make sure the performance of the aircraft is adequate to climb with gradient no less than 6.8% before reaching "TEGUB" for SIDs with names ended with "T" (ADLAD1T/LARIT1T/DUMEP1T/XEMEK1T/SOSLU1T), as you'll fly pretty close to the highest peak in Hong Kong, with the height at about 3140ft.
• Those STARs with names ended with "G" (ABBEY2G/BETTY2G/CANTO2G/SIERA2G) are only for connecting RNAV-Y RWY 25L/C/R approaches. Don't choose them if you are not intended to fly those approaches.
• Do not deviate from the depicted approach paths for RWY 07L/C/R unless you have very strong reasons to do so, otherwise you may fly close to Lantau Peak (with height at about 3066ft) or fly outside the Hong Kong Airspace boundary.
• The missed approach procedure for some of the RNAV approaches contains RF leg

Cautions exclusive for the tricky ILS RWY 25R approach:

• Don't fly below 3800ft before reaching "SAGNI" for any reason, as you'll fly pretty close to the highest peak in Hong Kong, with the height at about 3140ft.
• Don't turn Approach Mode before reaching "TOPUN", as the glideslope is unreliable beyond 10NM from the antenna IRL (although such situation won't be reproduced in the sim).
• Connect from the documented transitions only ("BOKAG" or "RIVMI"), where only "RIVMI" transition will be used to connect the STARs.
• You are highly recommended to read the corresponding approach charts issued officially from AIP Hong Kong by CADHK.

Notices:

• You don't need this addon if you are subscribing 3rd party NavData providers like Navigraph, or any 3rd party overhauls for the airport which contains complete and updated NavData in future.
• For those who purchased the payware scenery by WFSS from anywhere other than the in-game marketplace, this addon may not work properly. The most simple solution is to rename the name of the folder for this addon to anything which make it loads after the WFSS scenery, as the Community addons are loaded by alphabetical order when the sim starts.

Hong Kong (Chek Lap Kok) Intl. Airport (VHHH) NavData for Three-runway System

This add-on provides updated and enhanced instrument procedures for Hong Kong International Airport (VHHH), specifically in light of the new Three-runway System. It replaces outdated Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs) and Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs) with RNAV-based alternatives, ensuring a more accurate IFR navigation experience. The package addresses issues with missing or non-functional procedures for users of the payware scenery by WFSS, introducing a selection of new SIDs, STARs, and instrument approaches. Cautions regarding altitude constraints and procedural adherence are included to ensure safe operations around the challenging Hong Kong airspace.
