NOTAM - 18th May 2022 - I will try to adjust my scenery soon and see what is missing and add on top of it, now that malta got its "update" which was quite underwhelming as I expected more. For now if the scenery gives issues please avoid from using it until I update it (which you will be notified for). Although I will only be having 2 versions eventually (no Thalixte), one to be compatible with JustSim scenery, and one with default scenery. Although I know Project Coastline possibly might be updating Malta also soon enough, so I guess I will have to check compatibility with that also.
NOTAM - 12th June 2021 - I have now uploaded different versions of the scenery that ares compatible with the JustSim Scenery LMML and Thalixte photogrammetry especially keeping Filfla on the map. So there are no models clashing together. Make sure you choose the correct one.
Main File - If you have none of JustSim or Thalixte's Photogrammetry
JustSim LMML + Thalixte Compatibility - If you have JustSim LMML and Thalixte Photogrammetry installed.
Compatible-with-Thalixte-photogrammetry - If you have Thalixte photogrammetry and freeware LMML.

I have started working on the Maltese Islands to improve the basic scenery overall.
I am very new to the SDK and this is a work in progress.
Soon I will also start on a visual improvement on Luqa Airport also.
My free time is limited therefore updates may take some time.
For now as a start I have added
- 'Filfla' which is a landmark and was missing from the game and
- a placeholder for 'Fungus Rock'
- Check changelog section for additional items
Let me know in the comments if you have any feedback.
My next improvement planned is the Freeport area.
I will only be using SDK included models and no external ones or Gmaps photogrammetry imports, but will try my best to make it look authenthic.

Good job on the work you have done in Malta here, i was quite disappointed by the world update recently. However, your input certainly address the unfinished work needed. I've got a couple of wishes that i hope will be in your update...
The area of Gozo and the Fungus Rock area gets a bit of touching up as the colour as it is at the moment doesn't seam to match the natural rock geography, also looks like there's some texture problems going on? And also the tower at Portomaso is there anychance you could remove the gentric block put next to the Portomaso tower as well as the skycraper that has merged into the Portomaso tower.
Apologies if you`re already working on these... many thanks for your great work!
P.S does anybody know what happened to the freeware LMML airport on here?
Shame ASOBO didn't make more effort on that too!

The LMML airport was by JP. Alas, he pulled all of his sceneries because he was getting frustrated with having to update so many for the frequent sim updates. It's a shame, as recent sim updates haven't broken scenery as often.

I cannot get this to work in P3Dv4.5. I presume that I put the Malta-scenery file that is in the malta-scenery-Compatible with Freeware LMML ONLY_Ksbeh folder into the P3D scenery add-on folder and activate it but it does not show in P3D.
Can you give me some advise please?

This is a MSFS 2020 add on. Unfortunately not for P3D.

this is for MSFS not P3D. This whole website is based around MSFS and no other sim.

hi, unfortunately i have not had the time recently to check or to even fly for myself. If you have tested it let me know how it went. At the moment im not sure when I will have time to fix it if it is not compatible.

Maltese Islands - Scenery Enhancement

I have now uploaded a separate version of the scenery that is compatible with the JustSim Scenery LMML and Thalixte photogrammetry especially keeping Filfla on the map. So there are no models clashing together. Make sure you choose the correct one. I will create several other versions combinations depending on which sceneries you have. For now if you only have freeware LMML or Thalixte's photogrammetry download the main file. If you havJustSim LMML you download the second file.
