About this mod here: It fixes most of Switzerland in terms of trees that are wrongly generated on mountains, especially on peaks.
I manually removed the most wrong placed trees on mountain tops where there are no trees in reality.
I also changed the type of trees in most areas. You will now FINALLY see a lot of confiers in the alps! :)

It's all based on the DEM from World Update 6.
With the latest version 20 of this mod, I also expanded it a bit into the boarder areas of France, Italy and Austria!
Also, version 20 now fixes the tree types (more confiers!) around many Swiss airports!! See the screenshots :)
At this stage, I worked on pretty much every mountain area of Switzerland.

Swiss mountains tree fix (trees on mountains removed)
A comprehensive mod fixing tree placement on Swiss mountains, particularly removing inaccurately placed trees on mountain peaks. Well, hopefully. At least it’s for sure a gigantic step from previous versions.
MOST OF SWITZERLANDS ALPS REWORKED AND IMPROVED IN TERMS OF TREES!
It will hopefully make your VFR experiences in Switzerland A LOT more realistic and enjoyable!

P.S. does this version works only for MSFS2024 or should also be used for MSFS2020?

Regarding the version: For MSFS2020 you need the last Version for that one, which is in the separate download for MSFS2020.

Kannst du mal die Nord- und Ostflanke des Pilatus noch anschauen, da stimmen die Bäume und die Baumgrenze überhaupt nicht.

Man kann es zwar austricksen, aber dann geht das PIO kaputt. Auch keine Lösung.
Das selbe Problem gibt's auch beim Brienzer Rothorn.

There are so many broken / bad areas with the new poor Bingmaps from World Update 18... I would not even know where to start.
I think it's more important that we all tell Asobo in the forum here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/polls-world-update-xviii-germany-austria-and-switzerland/652756/338
and via Zendesk Support Ticket that we can not accept this degradation of quality.
They need to fix this.
