    This section collects freeware landscape scenery add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, developed by community contributors from across the globe. Landscape add-ons focus on the natural world — improving the appearance of terrain, coastlines, mountain ranges, forests, rivers, lakes, and other outdoor environments that form the backdrop of every flight. Enhancements range from high-resolution elevation mesh data derived from LIDAR surveys and improved aerial imagery to corrected tree placement, better water masking, and photorealistic orthophoto overlays for specific regions.
