    NOW COMPATIBLE WITH Latest version of MSFS as of Sep 2023

    TREE COLORATION HAS ALSO BEEN UPDATED TO BLEND IN BETTER WITH PHOTOGRAMMETRY TREES.

    As an Alpha/ beta tester, it was a common complaint for a huge number of us that the autogen tree height in MFS2020 was way too large. It seems like nothing was really done about this, and here we are at the end of 2021 and still the trees are ridiculously tall. (Not the photogrammetry trees, but the autogenerated ones) 

    I found one simple XML file that , when certain numbers are tweaked, adjust tree height for the majority of the Conifer and Deciduous trees .

    COPY THE FOLDER (after unzipping)  - 'ShorterTreesArifStudiossV4' into your community folder.

    Desperately needed for 2024. Over the past 5 years Asobo have well and truly proven themselves to be incapable of realistically depicting trees.

    Cela fonctionne super bien chez moi. C'est génial et facilite le posé sur les pistes où il y avait de grands arbres dès le seuil de piste.

    Do you think you could make this work for FS2024? This was a must have mod for FS2020 as it made the tree height much more realistic.

    It doesn't work for me, I set the trees setting low and then I placed this mod in the community folder but it doesn't work,... I went to Rome and the trees are always too many and too tall, what can I do?

    Bravo, ce mod est super, enfin on se rapproche de la réalité.
    En plus de la hauteur, peut-on également diminuer la densité dans les paramètres du fichier *.xml?

    Hi, I put ShortestTreesARIFSTUDIOSV5 in Community folder, but it does not work as it did for previous versions of MSFS. Look like something as changed since dec 2023 / january 2024, there is no more vegetation folder in packages... If someone can help (actually I don't know how to be sure if shortertree is taken in account or not. The trees are still 2 or 3 times too big for me with photogrammetry + map enhancement) . Put 5 stars because it worked well for me before

    it definitely solves my issue every time I fly down to Paro Runway 33, the stock trees were all too high affecting my judgement
