This is my version of PAFE – Kake, Alaska ..

 

Kake is on the northwest coast of Kupreanof Island in the Alexander Archipelago in southeastern Alaska.

This Scenery worked together with RTMM´s (Return to Misty Moorings) Kake Seaplane Base.

I make some Island fixes around of this place and bring the Kake Harbour Marina out of water.

I also added the world's largest totem pole carved from a single trunk. Unfortunately, I can't build objects with Blender etc., so you can only see the trunk. It is located near the police station and has also been given a POI landmark.

If someone wants the marina with pontoons and boats, I can build it but with more dependencies and in a separate download scenery.

 

NOTAM:

-Watch out for bears crossing the runway

-Try the RNAV 11 approach or the visual 29 approach (youtube: Arriving at Kake, AK)

 

Description of used dependencies:

I know there are a lot of them, but I did my best to keep the list short and to get the best possible result.

I separated required and recommended (in order of used objects). To enjoy the scenery I recommend all dependencies, all world updates and the premium edition.

My MSFS Scenery‘s has been developed using mixed informations gathered from Google Maps/Bing Maps,  Images and from overflights of Bush Pilots VLogs of the airstrip and the surroundings. 

Hopefully that I was able to give a bit life into the airfield with my custom and real life mix.

Unfortunately, due to lack of time, I have no experience in object construction. I therefore built with several library packages, all world updates and the Premium Edition of MSFS. So you need a few object libraries (listed in dependencies) and all world updates should be installed to see all of my entire scenery.. OK, there are quite a few, but if you don't like the scenery or the dependencies you needed, please skip the download or simply delete my Scenery.

 

Most of my Scenery improvements has:

-removed / shortened Trees at Runways End

-parking spot for starting in cold & dark 

-animated / static People / Animals

-loading stuff near parking spot

-a “chill-out campfire” or a bar ect. in the area for a short break
