Description
Eaglescott Airfield is located in the heart of Devon, with Exmoor a few miles to the northeast, and Dartmoor a few miles south. As such, it's ideally located as a base for low and slow flights around the Westcountry.
You might also enjoy Belle Vue, just up the road.
Home to a wide range of GA aircraft and gliders, Eaglescott is also one of two main bases for Devon Air Ambulance.
The defult MSFS scenery has some accidental challenges (mainly trees in strange places), so I've given this airfield a complete overhaul:
- Rogue trees removed from runways and surround fields
- Taxiways, hangars and parking added
- Lots of custom objects (careful not to clip the road sign on your approach to RWY25!) including a custom crafted clubhouse
- Custom ground markings and hold shorts added
- Burrington radar station added - the best way to find Eaglescott is to look for the big white radar dome as you approach
- Choose from runway, parking, hangar or helipad starts
As ever, you'll need a few libraries installed to make everything work properly. They're listed below.
This is my first foray into designing UK scenery - feedback, comments, ratings all very welcome. I hope to keep tweaking bits of this, but I thought it's now ready to share.
Installation: just unzip and add to your community folder (and ensure you also have the necessary libraries added).

Also - I love that you've added hedges, MSFS UK lacks so many hedges and it really adds a lot to the depth and the feel and makes it feel a lot more like home!
Given a 5 star rating, I hope you can consider the parking spot in a future update!

Can i ask . . i have no parking spots at Bella View and only one (Helipad) at Eaglescott, would you know why please?

V2 is now packed with EGGI Great Torrington instead of the mentioned GB-0326 Belle Vue Airfield.
Any data, coordinates, available on EGGI?
Personally, I would prefer separate files for each airfields, since easier to hold record with updates etc.

MSFS gives Belle Vue the ICAO EGGI, so I've left it the same in the game (even though it's different in real life). Belle Vue has sometimes been called Great Torrington (it's near there) though most people seem to know it as Belle Vue.

I've flown in and out of Eaglescott a couple of times already today and it's really nice. Like a lot of small airfields though, not easy to spot from the air until quite close.
