    Description

    New Version - 2 and now 2.1 -This is a large file so kindly be patient as it downloads.
    Updated Jan 14th with version 2.  There are a lot more details and fixes as well as 4 hangars which have interior parking starts.  eg parking 11 and 12.  Mag Aerospace Hangar. (east parking)  Adjusted the beacon.

    Sudbury is a hard-working, modern city located several hours north of Toronto on the TransCanada Highway.  The "Big Nickel" and the high smoke stacks of Inco are highlighted in the Canada update, so it was a good project to add for the region.  With nine operating mines, two mills, two smelters, and a nickel refinery, Sudbury is arguably the hard rock mining capital of the world.  

    The airport is a hub for Northern Ontario and is serviced by several regional airlines including Bearskin Airlines"   

    This airport includes many custom hangars and signs including the terminal.

    Great job! This is my hometown, most-used airport and now it looks amazing! I've learned to start my flights cold/dark from a parking spot now because it's so enjoyable to taxi out to a runway.

    I have the plans but I only did the main general areas. I don't know what the upstairs looks like so I guessed. I would like to add some seaplane bases.

    Port Hardy is one of the most important airports on Vancouver Island and is home to Wilderness Seaplane which continues to serve the region with a fleet of Gruman Goose'.  It has an ILS with glideslope on Rwy 11 -  dial in 109.5 for the localizer and glideslope.  It has a new terminal building in which the roof resembles the cross section of a wing.   I spent some wonderful days up in that area at Telegraph Cove - 40 miles south, but have been a fan of this wild and beautiful part of Canada for years. See the artwork of Emily Carr for instance. I wanted to incorportate some of the artwork of the coastal indigineous peoples -Kwakiutl First Nations -so I included them as highlighted in the terminal building.  (dugout canoe and exterior facade)
