Spend more time in the southwest.

Your next visit to the Mosel valley will take you to a vineyard hill, Mont Royal. Landing there, you have just arrived next to the idyllic town Traben-Trarbach, which is home to medieval buildings, ruins of a fortress, and two castles. The Mont Royal airfield is mainly used by glider pilots. Small fly-in events are held every year. Navigating to this mountain offers breathtaking views of the Mosel valley. It is a quick hop from the nearby regional airport Trier-Föhren (EDRT), which is only 14 nm away.

This small airfield got a decent overhaul. There are many new objects included, custom aprons, corrected satellite imagery, and slight elevation changes that bring the airport closer to its original state. Have fun exploring this stunning area and enjoy your landings above a vineyard!

How to install: This airport uses libraries you also need to download beforehand in order to see all objects (such as glider trailers).
1. Download both the required Asset Pack and Airport Markings by Mikea.at
2. Download this airport.
3. Drag and drop the 3 downloaded folders from the .zip files into your "Community" folder.

How to get there: Search for the ICAO code EDRM.

Dein nächster Besuch im Moseltal führt dich auf die Weinberge, genauer gesagt, den Mont Royal. Nach deiner Landung erreichst du die idyllische Kleinstadt Traben-Trarbach, die mittelalterliche Gebäude, die Ruine eines Forts, sowie zwei Burgruinen beherbergt. Der Flugplatz Mont Royal wird hauptsächlich von Segelfliegern genutzt. Jedes Jahr gibt es kleine Veranstaltungen. Während des Flugs zu diesem Flughafen gibt es nichts weniger als die beeindruckende Landschaft des Moseltals zu bestaunen. Der Weg hierher ist ein Katzensprung vom Regionalflughafen Trier-Föhren (EDRT), der sich nur 14nm entfernt befindet.

Dieser kleine Flugplatz wurde grundlegend überarbeitet. Es sind viele neue Objekte enthalten, selbsterstellte Vorfelder, korrigierte Satellitenaufnahmen und kleine Terrainänderungen, die den Flugplatz damit näher an sein reales Vorbild bringen. Viel Spaß beim Erkunden dieser beeindruckenden Gegend und gute Landungen überhalb des Weinfelds!

Installationsanleitung: Dieser Flugplatz nutzt Bibliotheken, die vorher heruntergeladen werden müssen, damit alle Objekte sichtbar werden (bspw. Anhänger der Segelflugzeuge).
1. Lade die beiden erforderlichen Bibliotheken (Asset Pack) und (Airport Markings) herunter, die von Mikea.at erstellt wurden
2. Lade diesen Flugplatz herunter
3. Ziehe alle 3 heruntergeladenen Ordner aus ihren .zip-Archiven in deinen "Community"-Ordner
