    Description

    Due to some chnages in my personal life, I no longer have time to create and maintain my GSX profiles! There will be no more updates for my work.

    If you want to update my work, please feel free to do so. I kindly ask that you give me some credit if you upload your iterations of my work. Thank you.

    This is my Profile for Simwings EDDM V2

    The whole Airport is complete with the features you can find below.

    This profile is made for the payware EDDM by Simwings found >>>here<<<

    IMPORTANT

    The VDGS is NOT missing. The GSX VDGS is seamlessly integrated into the AS VDGS casing so you will only see the screen! If you load in and see "chocks on" or "EDDM Gate xxx" That is the GSX VDGS working!

    If you want to use Aerosofts VDGS, please use the ASVDGS version. This version does NOT include any GSX VDGS.

    What’s Included?

    ->          Custom vehicle placement

    ->          Custom pushback positioning and naming

    ->          Custom Terminal Walkers

    ->          VDGS placement where it is needed - screen only VDGS

    ->          Custom De-Ice pads

    ->          custom jetway root floorheights where needed

    ->          custom stop positions per aircraft type 

    How to install?

    Simply place the provided .ini file into %appdata%/virtuali/GSX/MSFS

    -          If any problems arise have a look at the install guide provided with the profile.

    For an easy and convenient alternative, you can use the profile installer by FatGingerHead and smatthew. Found >>>here<<<

    How to report a problem?

    If you have a problem with the installation or there is something wrong with the profile, please let me know either here or on our Community Discord. I will make sure to help in any way I can.

    And how do you expect me to fix this without providing the gate this is happening at?
    And just a question on the side. Are you sure you're using the simwings scenery? and not the one from the WU?

    First of all, I completely understand that you no longer have the time to maintain or update this profile, thank you for making that clear and for releasing your work to the community.

    Is anyone planning to adapt or update this profile for MSFS 2024? I haven’t used it yet, but it appears to be the only complete GSX profile for MSFS 2020, and pushback alignment or others in 2024 is are a concern.

    Since updates and reuploads with credit are allowed, it would be great if someone from the community could take this on.

    That's likely nothing we can control with the GSX Profile because the airport has many missing positions that haven't been implemented by the scenery developers.

    Thanks for your work! Unfortunately, many stands are missing, like 219 a, 223 a etc.

    Hey, there are many positions that are missing in the scenery and a GSX profile can't simply add them, and afaik 219 and 223 don't exist in real life too, but only 219A/B and 223A/B. If the scenery developers decide to add any missing positions in the future, the profile will most likely be updated!😊

    It’s mostly broken for the Asobo Munich v2 (MSFS 2024), and also for the Sim-Wings scenery; some parts still need rework.

    Version History

    Changelog: - disabled Wingwalkers on most positions - custom Engine Start points in Pushback for most Aprons (Red Line) - small changes and corrections **Update to A380 Compatability** - gates 113X (Apron 1 East) and 318 (Apron 3 Satelite) created via gsx that are only recommended to use with the A380. You may find them at the very end of the gate lists Important Notes: - these gates are only accessible via the GSX Menu, NOT via the MSFS world map. - GSX cannot control the jetways at these gates because they were created from stands without jetways. This means you cannot toggle the jetways via the GSX menu, nor can GSX do it for you. However, you can visually connect/disconnect the jetway using the A380's EFB. Unfortunately, passengers will not be visible on the jetway and other incorrections may occur. - If this is an issue, don’t worry—the new gates are optional and made for a more realistic A380 experience. Until the missing gates are added to the NavData by SimWings, this is the best solution to add these gates ourselves, and as you can tell, they are not perfect. Other missing gates have not been made, as they only would make a small difference and because of scenery limitations. The compromise is that you will keep the jetway functionality. Due to personal time constraints, I´m unfortunately no longer able to update my work myself. If you want to contribute, feel free to reach out on Discord.
