    Description

    Due to some chnages in my personal life, I no longer have time to create and maintain my GSX profiles! There will be no more updates for my work. VATSCA has kindly continued my work. You can find their profile >>>here<<<

    This is my GSX-Profile for FlyTampas EKCH.

    Even though there already is a profile for this airport I decided to do my own version since the original is not updated anymore.

    This profile is built 100% from scratch and is as accurate as I can get it for now. 

    I hope you enjoy my work.

    What’s Included?

    -          Custom vehicle placement

    -          Custom pushback positioning and naming (Done with the Vatsim AIP Chart. You can find it >>>here<<< )

    -          Walk-in routes where appropriate

    -          VDGS placement where it is needed

    -          correct jetway root height

    -          correct grond handling and catering chioces

    -          working de-ice pads 

    How to install?

    Simply place the provided .ini file into %appdata%/virtuali/GSX/MSFS

    -          If any problems arise have a look at the install guide provided with the profile.

    For an easy and convenient alternative, you can use the profile installer by FatGingerHead and smatthew. Found >>>here<<<

    How to report a problem?

    If you have a problem with the installation or there is something wrong with the profile, please let me know either here or on our Community Discord. I will make sure to help in any way I can.

    Also VDGS at EKCH shows dep info, please reach out if you need some info :)

    Hi! Gate F7, although described as "walk in", has the passenger bus set to "deboarding only".
    The other F-stands are set to "never". Is this an error or a Kastrup-specific thing?

    Love the work you always do with the gsx profiles, just wondering if you can update it to include different parking stands for heavys to work for the 777 or 787?

    Hello, nice profile! I have a question, because I'm not sure if ive installed it correctly since it sometimes shows wrong ground handlers from all over the world. After placing the ini here:

    AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\GSX\MSFS

    Should I also open the ini and edit the first line pointing it to my scenery? Because the directory seen in the ini file is wrong by default.

    I edited the path to mine:
    afcad_path = \\?\D:\Appdata.Packages.MSFS\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Community\flytampa-airport-ekch-copenhagen-kastrup\scenery\world\scenery\ft_ekch_scene.bgl.

    Is this correct? And what is the .py file besides the ini file? I have both.

    The placement is correct. Both .ini and .py go into that location.

    The Path is no longer used and you don't need to edit it (in fact you never did)

    The random ground handling is more likely down to a missing config file inside your GSX installation since all ground handlers are set by the profile

    If I disable EKCH_jetways.bgl in FSDT, so Flytampa shows it's own custom jetways, the alignment to Fenix A320 v2 (.407) isn't accurate, at least not on B9 I'm currently at. It tends to not go close enough at the bottom and end of jetway to be tilted oddly downward. I'm new to GSX so don't know much about the options for finetuning, or if it won't get better than what I see.

    You NEED to disable the GSX jetway replacements if you want to use any custom scenery with GSX.

    The jetway alignment on the aircraft is not done by my profile, or by GSX. Its a complete MSFS based system

    Should I disable "EKCH EKCH_jetways.bgl" in FSDT Universal Installer when using EKCH from Flytampa Whether using this custom GSX profile or not? If I don't disable it, I see both GSX and Flytampa's jetways at many parking spots.

    The VDGS type is chosen to reflect what is a actually available at the airport, at least according to my information.
