    Description

    Requires GSX version 3.8.3 or higher

    This is an updated GSX profile for EDDM by Simwings.

    This profile is based on the excellent version made by SimonTricks ( >>here<< )

    Features:

    ->          All the great features of the old profile (including custom pushback positioning and naming, custom Terminal Walkers and much more)

    ->          Added all missing subpositions (A/B positions) at terminal 1&2 as MARS positions

    ->          Accurate airline assignements

    ->          VDGS placement where it is needed - screen only VDGS

    ->          Custom De-Ice pads

    -> Custom gates with working jetways for A380 [note: for gate 317&318 the stop position is off the parking line, this is the only way to make the jetways work for these positions)

    How to install?

    Simply place the provided .ini file into %appdata%/virtuali/GSX/MSFS

    I'm seeing several poistions at T2, mainly MARS or A/B but also some remote stands that, when you load into them, won't recognize that you're at the gate and show no services available in GSX but the "taxi" menu where you can select your gate. even when warping to that specific gate, plane gets moved correctly but GSX fails to recognize that it's standing at the gate. maybe something got shifted in the scenery or on my end...?

    First of all this is a really nice profile. However, IRL, at least at Gate 215A, the stop position for an A320 is at between 30 and 32 marks, but the one in your profile is at 22 mark, which makes it stop too far forward. I have tested at the 30 mark, and the jetway does reach the aircraft door with no issues. Hopefully, this can be fixed. Thank you

    Hi, im having some issues at most parking stands. GSX wont start services, as im not properly parked at the stand... even repositioning wont work. (mostly T2, on the main terminal. Havent noticed anything on the Satelite for now)

    Which file should I put in the GSX folder? eddm-simwings.py , or the ones in the choose 1 folder (eddm-simwings-v2 or eddm-simwings-v2-asvdgs)?

    -asvdgs is for if you want to use the Aerosoft VDGS included with the scenery, place that file in the GSX folder if you want to use that instead of the VDGS included with GSX

    Thank you for the update! For future releases, please keep the name of the profile files the same as otherwise by just copying over the files we'll end up with two profiles (-v1 and -v2 etc.) that'll cause issues :)

    Thanks for the update. Could it be that the stop positions for the A320 family are a bit too early? Perhaps they could move a little further forward towards the terminal.

    This add-on provides an updated GSX profile for Simwings Munich Airport EDDM, compatible with GSX version 3.8.3 or higher. Features include custom vehicle placement, pushback settings, terminal walkers, dedicated VDGS locations, and de-icing pads. The profile adjusts jetway floor heights and stop positions for various aircraft, including support for A380 and other heavy aircraft at specific gates. Updated airline terminal assignments for Terminals 1 and 2 are also included.

    -Added Aerosoft VDGS as an optional configuration (note: ASVDGS is only avaible at the "original" stands, I cant alter the positioning of the VDGS; in a future update I will add GSX VDGS to the stands that do not include a functional ASVDGS unit)
