Finland EcoRegions
This scenery modifies the boreal forests of Finland. The forests are divided in Conifer, deciduous and mixed forests as in Corine Land Cover data. The default MSFS trees are too high and forests too dense, so different biomes for Finnish forests are included. The area expands slightly to the neighboring countries.
* Slightly altered tree colors
* More realistic tree heights
* The most northern part of Finland has no big forests, this is correctly modelled
Install in the Community folder.
Finland EcoRegions is not compatible with BIJAN HABASHI - 4 SEASON PACK when both are active. Use either one at the moment.

Version History
Erronous polygons caused heavy stuttering in EFJO-EFKU-EFJY areas with Sim Update 8. This is now fixed and the scenery should run smoothly.

Unfortunately these scenery update is located to Russia (mauybe the initial cereation was there) - means cannot be used to be sorted with autmatic location.

Im using the Addon Collector https://flightsim.to/file/8349/mfs-addon-locator which also have the ability to sort all mods depending on their destination. This makes it a LOT clearer, when swithcing on/off countries with all their airports / landmarks / scenries etc\. Means US airports will be automatically sorted in Noth America - US, RAF airports to Europe - United Kingdom, etc.
Unfortunately your addon has the location marker to Russia. I dont know where in the bgl file is the location.....but when the software makes a deep analysys, it also displays the russian flag and the package wil be moved to Europe - Russia and not to Europe - Finland. This is an automatic process and cannot be "overwritten" with manually using copy/paste it to Europe - Finland. When the software scans your package again, it will be moved back to Russia.

Flight simulator does not care about borders. It creates the files that are needed for specific locations. It may be that Finland exists in a bigger "grid" in the sim that goes beyond the border to Russia too, I don't know.
Ecoregions scenery has only one bgl-file. There are no location markers that I can set.

Awesome! Can you please do it for Sweden as well? Hate to see overly tall tree everywhere, even at places where there should not be any forest.

Hi! I hunted the Swedish data for 2 days... I got it now. I think Sweden can be made the same style as Finland.

Seemed to work nicely around EFKT. Turned some autogen forests into more swamp-like areas like in real life.
