This is an upgrade to the default KWLW airport in MSFS. All modifications are done using Microsoft's SDK, custom objects, and library objects.

The Willows Airport is located beside I-5 in northern California, roughly between Redding and Sacramento. This GA facility opened in the 1920s and saw service in both WW2 and as the first major aerial firefighting base in the state. Now past its glory days, it is still a popular fly-in destination throughout northern California thanks to Nancy's cafe, a local institution.

• Custom airport objects including long hangars, sheds, Glenn County Mosquito Control, Nancy's Cafe, and various signs including the aerial tanker memorial
• Some local landmarks added, including McDonald's at the Wal-mart site and Kanawha Water District facility
• Added objects particular to local area including the tractor dealer on the airport road and many bales near runway 34
• Added fencing, fuel area, weather station, windsocks, ramp clutter, car parking, and cracked pavement areas with weeds
• Local landscape was enhanced, with more tree stands
• Added local utility lines and intersections visible on approach to runway 16

Notes

1. WLW doesn't have extensive ramp lighting. The lights on the long hangars are not functional

2. Custom objects are designed to give a general impression and have some imperfections here and there

3. Some people may not like the weeds and cracks added, but these are present at the actual airport due to the age of facilities

4. Limited testing was done in MSFS24, and I did not notice any issues

5. Some Microsoft dependencies were used. You will need KSEZ installed to see the light fixture near the fuel station

Installation

1. Unzip the .ZIP file 
2. Place the indicated folder in your MSFS "community" folder in your MSFS installation location. My California GA library is also required and listed in the dependencies.

This add-on provides an upgraded rendition of Willows-Glenn County Airport in northern California, replacing the default scenery in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It features custom buildings, local landmarks, realistic ramp and landscape details, and various airport-specific enhancements.
