Gautam Buddha Airport, also known as Bhairahawa Airport in the game, has been upgraded into an international airport which is the second airport in Nepal capable of accommodating wide-body jetliners by paving a new parallel 3km long runway and a new international apron. (Pokhara International could only accommodate large single isles like A32X and 737) The old runway will be downgraded into a taxiway.
Bhairahawa is one of the most important destinations for Buddhist pilgrimage, while the others are Gaya and Kushinagar.
How to use the ILS
Although a full set of ILS being installed for Runway 28, however the associated approach procedure is NOT developed as the straight-in approach path is very near the border between Kathmandu and Delhi FIR. I tried to find out how to make use of it without crossing into Indian airspace:
- Choose RNAV 28 as the instrument approach procedure by either the built-in flight planner, or input directly on FMS/MCDU
- Tune your aircraft to receive ILS signal by either frequency 109.3 or ident "IBWA"
- Just after passing the last waypoint "BW101", change to "TRK/FPA" mode, with track of 262° and glide path angle of -3° in case of flying an Airbus. (I'm not familiar with Boeing aircraft)
- Press Approach Mode and let the aircraft to catch the localizer and glideslope
(Pleast note it is FOR HOME SIMULATIONS ONLY)
Limitations:
- Ramp 2L and 2R are fake as the sim couldn't handle overlapped parking spaces properly
Please REMOVE the current installation before each updates, as there may be BREAKING CHANGES to file structure

LOL looks like your screenshot made it into the Nepali Times. Work good enough to fool a newspaper is good enough for me. Five stars.

Latest news of this airport still not in use due to lot of delays provoked by sanitary crisis
Bhairahawa, January 9
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has said that a calibration flight will take place at Gautam Buddha International Airport as soon as the weather improves.
Monitoring the airport on Saturday, Ale said even though the government had plans to start calibration flights from January, it could not due to poor weather in the past week.
“All preparations have been completed. We await good weather,” he said.
Director-General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Raj Kumar Chhetri, said a technical team from Thailand’s Aerothai was preparing to perform a calibration flight at the Airport. “The calibration flight will be carried out by the technical team of Aerothai. If they say there is no problem, our technical team is ready to do the test flight,” says Chhetri.
The calibration flight is held to test alignment, lights, equipment and test flight is carried out once everything is reported to be functional as required.
Minister Ale also added the flight services would start soon at the Gautam Buddha International Airport. On the occasion, he instructed the concerned authorities to complete the installation of new equipment and complete physical infrastructure under-construction at the airport as soon as possible.
He also inspected the runway, control tower, passenger arrival and departure lounge of the airport. (from online khabar january 9)

the google ground texture is not good since it does not blend with the surrounding default area and it looks very out of place, please revert back to the previous textures. other than that, thank you for your effort and time in developing this.

Using Google ground texture is a difficult decision, but the position of the new runway in Bing imagery is cultivation area, and the previous method of making the whole area completely green looks not quite natural. However, I've spent hours of tuning to make the Google ground texture blends well with the surroundings, please enjoy.
