    Description

    Tribhuvan International Airport is an international airport located in Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal. It is operating with a tabletop runway, one domestic and an international terminal. As a main international airport, it connects Nepal to over 40 destinations in 17 countries.

    The airport is a hub for two international airlines, the flag carrier Nepal Airlines and Himalaya Airlines, along with multiple domestic carriers. The airport is considered as a starting point for Mount Everest international tourists, with several daily flights to Lukla. Several airlines also offer Everest sightseeing flights out of Kathmandu.

    Due to heavy traffic congestion, winter fog and the airport running out of its full capacity, the Government of Nepal promoted Gautam Buddha International Airport as an alternative airport in case of necessary diversions.

    NOTICE TO ALL AIRMEN:

    • Scenery may differ depending on the simulator you use. Screenshots were taken from MSFS2020.
    • All dependencies are working on both 2020 and 2024
    • If anyone could provide references for the missing buildings and corrections, it will be very much appreciated! Request to make for landmarks outside the airport area will not be accepted. Sorry

    The VNKT elevation issues appear to be in both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. I had the chance to make a sequence views on how a plane was up and down during taxiing on the elevated spot. I found elevation issues in two different areas so far and may be more. After an update becomes available, I will test more. Please, fix this beautiful VNKT really is very nice but ...

    Installed in MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. The VNKT looks terrific with both, but I want to point out that the flags from the Terminal float on air with MSFS2020. Any way to fix it?

    Hi! I'm updating from v2.1 (MSFS 2020) and I see a new folder now. Should I copy both folders to the community folder?

    The new folder is the Google Map Aerial Scenery. It should be placed in the Community Folder along with the VNKT Airport Scenery folder.

    Hello!,

    Some of the dependencies like the EDHK Lights & Objects Developers Pack (Asset-Pack) by MrMo are still for 2020 only, are they still required for 2024 version of this addon?

    These introduce random crashes into my MSFS2024 - do not install. Otherwise works pretty well!!!

    ...a longer Approach Light System (ALS) with Sequenced Flashing LIghts (SFL) at runway 02
    ...Runway End Idenfier Lights at runway 20
    ...a LOCALIZER antenna for the LOCALIZER Type Directional Aid (LDA) at the end of runway 02?

    This would made your work perfect according to current charts.
