Zeltweg Air Base [LOXZ], now known as Fliegerhorst Hinterstoisser, is a military airfield in Styria, Austria near Zeltweg. It is the main airfield of the Austrian Air Force. It was also used as a motor racing circuit in the 1960s, whereas nowadays Formula 1 races take place at the nearby Spielbergring. Zeltweg is also host to Europe's biggest airshow - the AirPower, which takes places regularly since 1997. The 2003 and 2005 editions featured Red Bull Air Race events.

How to install?
Simply drag the unzipped download "fsdiscordaustria-airport-loxz-zeltweg" folder into your community folder! Don't forget to install Mikea's AssetPack and LOXZ Aerial Imagery as well!

Komm ich grad nach Monaten zurück zum Sim, guck mal hier auf die Seite und denk... Hatter nich gemacht! GEIL!! Deine Flughäfen sind allesamt so detailiert und wunderschön, Performance ist super, echte Oberklasse, vor allem unter der Freeware. Und seit der Airpower ist Zeltweg ja eh Pflicht =) Wird sofort installiert!

The whole deal is great, except there are trees on the runway, right by the threshold. Am I the only one seeing this? I think on 26L when taking off.

It is a well known simulator bug. Delete your rolling cache and the „content.xml“ file in windows explorer. That should get rid of the trees!

Hallo,
Sobald ich einen Flug in Zeltweg starte, stürzt das Spiel bei mir ab. Es liegt (leider) an einem der drei neuen Addons (LOXZ Fliegerhorst, LOXZ Aerial oder Mike's AssetPack). Ist euch sowas bekannt oder gibt es dafür einen Workaround?

Leider überhaupt nicht bekannt.
Bitte testweise wie folgt vorgehen:
1) Löschen von "Rolling Cache" und "Manual Cache" iim Simulator Menü. Neustarten.
2) Falls es nicht geholfen hat, Simulator beenden und im Windows Explorer den Ordner suchen:
C:\\users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\
Dort die Datei "content.xml" löschen.
Bitte um Rückmeldung ob es geklappt hat.
Darf ich noch fragen, welche Grafikkarte verwendet wird und wieviel RAM eingebaut ist?

The amount of hard work and sweat and love and devotion, that went into the lots of details of this masterpiece, is incredible. People really need to inspect this whole scenery with the lowest and slowest flying bird, they can get, to fully realize the insane amount of detail, this scenery got.
Things up to "steam machines, displayed in a museum"... absoulutely nice work, guys. Thanks a lot for this jewel!
I really think, this scenery - including the optional highres ground textures, included in another addon available here - is a real milestone for the evolution of the sim and a benchmark for any other developer(s), how a great scenery needs to be arranged nowadays.
Best of all: this offers a fantastic location for a great airshow, with thousands of visitors and lots of things to see all over the place. Let´s see, if there might be coming something from this very same team in the very, very near future, to catapult this scenery from the state of "fantastic" even further up to "intergalactic"...

Auf Emmen warte ich auch schon gespannt, ich bin mir aber sicher, dass da eines der tollen Schweizer Entwicklerteams demnächst was abliefern wird. zB Redwing SImulation arbeitet sich da ja langsam durch die LSXX Flugplätze durch:-)
