    Description

    This is a replacement for the default Aurora State Airport (KUAO). It features accurate taxiways and custom buildings for the Columbia Aviation Association clubhouse, the Atlantic FBO, the Atlantic fueling station, Willamette Aviation office, Willamette Aviation fueling station, and the windsock circle.

    Aurora State Airport is a public airport in Marion County, Oregon. It's the largest state-owned airport in the state. It's used for general aviation, corporate jets and air ambulances. 

    Please message me with any mistakes or inaccuracies will be corrected in future versions.

    To install, just unzip the contents into your community folder. Please note the dependencies. It'll work without them, but you'll lose a lot of details.

    FYI - Willamette Aviation has new owners! Local ownership and now called Pacific Flight! Also pumping JetA as well now, so good alternative to Atlantic

    You only need that for the FS2020 version, and you just unzip it into your community folder like you would an airport.

    Looking great and appreciate the Vans HQ being added. The signage down in that area helps make the airport feel less generic. Hope to see more around the airport as you finish up adding the new buildings.

    (More *signage*, I mean! Realized my writing was unclear there. Seeing signs around hangars, the airport, etc. obviously doesn't matter when you're flying in/out on the runway, but really adds to the immersion when you're taxiing around.)

    So the FS2024 version hasn't been updated to add the Vans HQ, etc yet, right?

    Is version 2.1 only for 2020? There was not an update to the 2024 file. Or does the 2.1 update file now work for 2020/2024 so that there is not a need for a separate 2024 file?

    I have not yet updated FS2024 from 1.0. The next update will bring FS2024 to 2.1.

    I am so excited that this airport is finally getting some love. Having the CAA clubhouse and unique FBO's plus a better representation of the tower really spruce this location up. Looking forward to more of the unique hangars and Aurora Aviation FBO.

    Absolutely I will revise I fly at Willamette Aviation and there is also a parked DC 10 right next to it currently but much improved I can send you pictures if you would like? any chance you could do the inside of Willamette aviation as well

    Awesome! Thanks for doing this. My dad lives near this airport in Wilsonville, and I keep thinking of going over to see if I can check out the Van's aircraft HQ there.

    Awesome! My in-laws live near here so have driven by it many times. In fact, I did my commercial multi engine out of KSLE and flew here! Thank you!
