FS2024 Section

V1.1   26 Nov 24

• Stage 1 conversion to FS2024. Fixes missing buildings, corrects terrain and textures.
• Makes the airport work fine and look fine.
• Look out for further fixes and updates as I discover cool things in the new SDK.

 

V1.2   19 Dec 24

• Changed the terrain pathing references for the new terrain engine to read the surfaces correctly into FS2024.
• Lowered the FS2024 trees on final approach to both ends of the runway.
• This one is definitely one of my absolute favourites and possibly my best ever work. Thankyou to Goldmund for suggesting this airport.

 

V1.3   20 Dec 24

• Replaced the popping tower with one that won't pop. Known aggressive LOD issue that I have no faith in Microsoft correcting.
• Remplacement de la tour éclatante par une autre qui n'éclatera pas. Problème de LOD agressif connu que je n'ai aucune confiance dans la correction de Microsoft.

 

V1.4   21 Dec 24

• Completely fixes the long grass issues I have been battling with. 
• Aprons are clean now, and fields are not hiding taxisigns anymore.

 

V2.0   30 Jan 25

• Complete rebuild of all of the grass ground textures using new textures from the FS2024 SDK.  Way more seamless!
• Added a helipad that you can start at down by the dock on the coast.
• Removed all popping objects and replaced them.
• Other additions and improvements.

 

V2.1   09 May 25

• Lowered the trees on the approach to RWY 08

 

V2.2   26 Jul 25

• Added more lighting for a better night time experience. Brightens up this great airport a lot.
• Brighten'd up your bungalow and surounding scenery.
• Added more assets to your business hangar. Business must be booming!
• Ready for SU3.

 

V2.3   03 Oct 25

• Changed the paving stones texture around the alfresco area in front of the main apron.
• NOTE I will be starting on NLWF Pointe Vele on Futuna as this is long overdue. (completed)

 

V2.4   15 Nov 25

• Lowered and removed some more trees on the approaches.
• Added more objects into your personal hangar.
• Added more objects around the fuel bowsers near that hangar.
• Yup, I just cannot help myself sometimes...

 

V2.5   03 Dec 25

• Added the proper FS2024 Helicopter Parking for cold/dark starts. Look for Helicopter Parking xx
• Includes the airfield and the beach by your bungalow.
• Made other minor additions and texture work.
• Final check before SU4.

 

V2.6   16 Dec 25

• Replaces/substitutes many missing objects caused by SU4. Too many to list.
• Adds new objects down by your bungalow's sexy neighbours, new boat, speakers and dog.
• All of my scenery is now being checked for this total mess they caused us Dev's.

 

V2.7 19 Apr 26

• Microsoft have been at it again, deleting assets randomly from the SDK.
• This update replaces missings assets with similar objects.

FS2020 Section

NOTE: Your sim must be up to date with all world updates and POI's installed. You do not need any photogrammetry installed,  just the base world updates as I borrow scenery from those resources. This project makes extensive use of the UK2000 Scenery Library which is free in the Marketplace. Please make sure you have it installed.

V 1.4

Welcome to Hihifo Airport, a picturesque holiday resort island in Wallis and Futuna 420nm North East of Fiji. This payware quality scenery includes 3D models of the resorts and bungalows scattered in and around the airport, custom multi-layered ground textures and markings and an exciting ocean front scenery addition. The additional scenery is  complete with your own private home, bungalows, pier, helipad, boat ramp and pub. There are also two private GA Hangars for you to spawn into on the main apron.

You can find the additional scenery by following the dirt road past RWY 26 down to the coast.

This scenery is by special request for goldmund who kindly donates his time and skills in creating GSX profiles to compliment many of my sceneries. 

 

Features include:

• Two private GA Hangars to spawn into.
• Over 500 handplaced objects, palm trees and buildings.
• Handplaced vegetation.

V 1.5  26 Jul 24

This airport now contains a workaround for the MSFS Helipad bug that prevents cold and dark starts. I have placed a small parking spot under the helipad numbered 100. This is not connected to the taxi paths and can be chosen as an alterative to its matching helipad so as to achieve a cold and dark spawn.

Made some other minor improvements while I was at it.

 

V 1.6  29 Jul 24

Fixes the missing PAPI lights on Runway 08 that was reported.

 

V 1.7/1.8  06 Sep 24

• Corrected any taxisigns and placed them in the right position and orientation.
• Replaced the stock lines with my own custom ones. Now all ground markings and lines will be colour matched.
• Made some other minor corrections and additions. 
• This should be the last update before MSFS 2024.

 

V 1.9  25 May 25

• Lowered the trees on approach to both runways.

Tip:
Don't forget to reload your Little Navmap scenery library now and then in order to keep your new airfields accurately portrayed within it. This way all your new taxiway designations are updated among other things.

LNM automatically searches through your community folder during the process which runs in the background so you can keep simming.

From the menu bar of LNM:  Scenery Library | Load Scenery Library | press Load. When finished, press Use Database.
