Description
This fix was originally built to alleviate the the unsightly glitch that caused water to climb up coastal cliffs introduced by the USA update (WU2.) Subsequent MSFS updates have largely fixed the glitch (at least for sea coasts - lakes not so much.) so the fix isn't really required any longer. I do continue to use the fix on my own install however as it reduces some of the coastline morphing & makes the cookie-cutter cliff faces look a bit more natural. The fix remains limited in scope & I have no intention of going global with it. For those of you who like me prefer to keep the fix installed I've made a small update by recompiling with the latest SDK those areas that were causing CTDs (notably the Pacific North-West & British Columbia & Iceland.)
Note: If the addon is still causing problems in a specific area it is possible to delete specific .bgls from the "scenery" directory & the remaining .bgls should still work.

I did a test on PAKT and the problem was not solved. Could not load the PAKT

Can't confirm.
Loaded in CYVR/KTIW/PAKT without any problem.

PAKT also loads fine for me with vanilla airport. Perhaps completely remove the previous version folder instead of overwriting (if you didn't already.)

I just isolated a problem with this package locking up the sim when loading the Aerosoft CRJ550. Deactivated and the CRJ550 loads just fine. The flight was in southern Alaska from PAKT to PAJN. 😆

Can confirm PAKT and some other alaskan and canadian airports wont load.

It's not the CRJ, as I don't have that plane, it's the whole coast of southern Alaska (Juneau to Ketchikan) that it's bugged. After messing with all my addons I finally found the issue, and it is indeed the coastline fix.

Will you be releasing a new version or is this something not yet fixable?

Not compatible with the latest update - Vancouver doesn't load, Tacoma narrows CTD as well. Spent quite a bit of time loading and unloading mods till I narrowed down to this one...

since Sim Update 5/XBOX update I ve observed extended loading time (when starting Friday Habour f.e.) - FS stood still - after deactivating the coast fix and the glitchfix residuals (maybe one or both of them is/are not compatible or still needed?) everything loads fine and fast.

I was wondering if this addon is still needed, and if some areas are corrected is there a conflict if this is installed in addition to the fixes?
Coastline glitch fix (Partial)
A fix originally created to address a coastline glitch from the USA update in MSFS. While subsequent updates have mostly resolved the issue, this fix can still enhance the visual quality of coastal cliffs. The fix has been updated with improvements for certain regions like the Pacific North-West, British Columbia, and Iceland. Users can choose to keep or remove specific .bgls from the "scenery" directory if needed.
