Description
Dili Airport, officially named Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport is the airport of the capital of East Timor (Timor-Leste). So far East Timor has been a last remaining white spot on the flightsim landscape. Dandy Project created the airport a while ago. Since it was mainly an update of the runway and aprons I had the wish for a complete airport.
I mainly used Microsoft assets but also other libraries to make the place come to life. Included in this airport are:
- Updated runway, taxiway and aprons
- More fitting buildings
- Helipcopter pads that can be used to spawn in
- The airport wall
- Two static aircraft and two military helicopters on the military apron
- Lots of clutter and people
- Night lighting
According to satellite pictures the western apron is mainly used by military helicopters. However I also added some parking spots for GA aircraft.
The main apron saw some change in the past years. It was converted from a larger number of GA parking spots to only three, that can accommodate A320/737-class aircraft.
The runway has a length of 1,850 m. There are plans to increase it to over 2,000 m in order to allow planes of the size of an A330 to land.
You may notice that there are no approach lights. That's how it is in real life.
Enjoy Dili International Airport!

Installation
Unzip the file into your community folder. Other than that you need the UK 2000-library free from the marketplace as well as the libraries listed below.
On top you should have the following World Updates installed:
- Canada
- Australia
- Germany
- Caribbean
- Eastern Europe
- France
- USA
- Oceania
- Asobo Dubai airport
I tried to limit the number of libraries this time. Some of them are optional because they only account for minor items.
