Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (ZYTX) by MT Scenery Design for MSFS is my second endeavour into scenery development. As opposed to my previous scenery release which heavilly utilised Custom-Modelled Buildings and assets, this scenery uses only default assets, coupled with custom made ground markings. It is intended to provide a true-to-life, but also lightweight rendition of Shenyang's main airport, which is well linked by numerous airlines. The scenery is very much a work-in-progress, but is at a point where I feel happy that people can enjoy this great improvement over the default airport.

Highly Recommended File

Due to the mis-aligned satellite imagery provided by Bing compared to the real world location of buildings, taxiways etc, below are two recommended options that are necessary for the scenery to display properly in the simulator. The airport will work without either of the below, but it won't look correct due to the wrong coordinates of the Bing sat image.

Option 1

Shenyang Airport Satellite Image Only - Made by Furuya_Rei

This is the easiest option, and is basically a package containing Google Maps satellite imagery that underlays the airport, and is what I based my object placement from.

Option 2

MSFS2020 Map Enhancement - Made by Derekhe

With this option, there is a downloadable program that basically replaces Bing Maps imagery in the default game with Google Maps, Apple Maps or various other map sources imagery. It is worth a try if you are interested in also replacing satellite imagery elsewhere, and not just this airport.

• Some remote stands are not yet placed down (Future Update)
• Parking stands don't have stop markings (Future Update)
• Not all gates have number markings (Future Update)
