This section collects freeware airport scenery add-ons covering China for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, developed by community creators from across the globe. China is home to one of the world's largest and fastest-growing aviation networks — from the iconic mega-hubs of Beijing Capital, Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Pudong, and Shanghai Hongqiao to regional airports serving dozens of major cities across the country, as well as high-altitude airfields in Tibet and remote strips in the Xinjiang and Yunnan regions. The community has produced a growing range of add-ons covering both major urban airports and smaller regional facilities, frequently with a strong focus on accurate terminal architecture, ground markings, and city landmark integration. Community-built add-ons bring real-world accuracy and missing detail to locations the default simulator leaves incomplete, featuring custom terminal buildings, corrected taxiway layouts, authentic ground textures, and locally specific objects. All add-ons are free to download.

Yueyang Sanhe Airport

Yueyang Sanhe Airport is a domestic feeder airport located in Hunan Province, China, 17 kilometers from downtown Yueyang. This scenery package features integrated NAIP navigation data, including local VOR (DYY) and ILS (IEY) facilities, with the ILS available only for Runway 36. Aircraft using default simulator data can access custom approach and departure procedures. This is a simplified version, with future updates planned to improve terminal modeling and airport details.

The airport handles over 900,000 passengers annually with a 2,700-meter runway and multiple parking stands. Charts and procedures are not included and must be self-provided by users.
