Hi - cannot submit through the app. After last Nvidia driver update time wise the app will launch, will *briefly* see the app itself then it goes black and everything disappears, though it acts like the app is still active underneath. Can no longer use as I can't see anything to launch, have to kill the process. Thanks for some direction - love the app since it came out - a big difference using Apple Maps!

HI , i have a strange issue
since 1 week , when i clik on "Enable Realistic Night Lighting" to activate it i have a strange message (see screenshot)
i expected that a new release update will solve this , but the today update has no solved it

This app suddenly stopped working a few days ago. Have tried re-installing it, including the .NET runtimes but it still gave an error.

Any advice?

What seems like a quick shortcut for better scenery map streaming turned into an absolute technical nightmare that completely broke Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 for me.

Here is everything that went wrong:

Corrupts Windows System Files: The app silently edits your core Windows hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts) to redirect official Bing, Azure, and Akamai streaming servers to local loopback IPs (127.0.0.1). When the app crashes, closes, or gets updated, it leaves these blocking lines behind—trapping your internet connection inside your own PC.

Destroys 3D Photogrammetry & Scenery: Because the system file changes block your PC from reaching official scenery servers, all 3D buildings vanish, photogrammetry cities turn into flat melted blobs or empty terrain, and water shaders glitch out with strange visual artifacts and harsh black outlines.

Triggers Infinite "Go Offline" Error Loops: Even with gigabit internet (tested at nearly 900 Mbps download), MSFS gets constantly blocked by the app's leftover redirects. This throws endless network error prompts, forces the simulator into offline mode, and breaks live data streaming.

Requires Manual System Repairs to Uninstall: Closing or uninstalling the tool does not clean up the damage. You are forced to open Notepad as an administrator, manually strip out the corrupted IP redirect lines from your Windows system files, and flush your DNS cache via Command Prompt just to get MSFS working again.

Please stay clear of this app.

Do you even have permission to use Google's, Bing's and others map data, and then charge money for it, for your own profit? I'm fairly certain this breaks all kinds of ToS across multiple platforms. Borderline illegal. It is very scummy and slimy to charge people for this.

I used this map enhancement a lot in flight simulator 2020, when it was for free.... in 2024 the improvement doesn't seem that relevant, indeed they ask money, not just some pennies, but a relevant amount of money every month to make some buildings, some lights appair in the game and change the map to maybe apple maps and other ones, also HIGH LOD was free, now it isn't. It's everything pay to play, it's actually crazy that now with all those modders you need a whole salary to make your game run as intended. I used this mod for years, and it was great, now it's only a beg for money

It is absolutely crazy and unthinkable to try to force us to use Windows 11. Some of us will never use Windows 11; why can't you make it usable on Windows 10? It's absolutely nonsense and unfair.
