I am unhappy with the night light mods available for Tokyo, including both the payware from SamScene3D, and the others available in the community, so I am trying to make my own.

This project is heavily inspired by @miguel88 's Tokyo Yokohama Nightlights addon. Please check it out first if you want your Tokyo and Yokohama to look amazing at night.

Important

I highly recommend that you use my addon along with my shinagawa photogrammetry improvement addon that provides the best visual experience for runways 16L and 34R at Haneda

In addition, you can try the photogrammetry improvement made by @Hiro). There are 2 parts in total:

• Enhanced Tokyo, Japan 202109 Part 2 of 2

These add-ons add missing buildings that are not present in the outdated default photogrammetry. However, you may want to install only some parts of the addon as they are not optimized for performance using LOD, and you are likely getting a very low FPS.

To balance FPS and realism, I recommend you install the following packages only:

• Google3D_Tokyo_Shinjuku - Updates missing buildings such as Shibuya Sky and the  National Stadium

The first version of this addon only contains night light for the Tokyo Tower. The modeling of the default Tokyo Tower looks fantastic but sadly it has no light effect at night. Over 200 individual light sources have been manually added to make the illumination of Tokyo Tower look as realistic as possible.

Installation - Unzip and put it in your community folder.

This is an ongoing improvement for Tokyo city. Updates will be added from time to time.
