Great Mod!!! Really appriiciate the hard work! Gives, especially to the Asobo 747-8i a whole new dimension of depth

Hi, thanks for your great work. I have installed the Longitude mod, which is working fine with one exception:

In your screenshots you show 4 small spot lights below the glareshield/autopilot panel. I am unable to get these lights even with FLOOD LIGHTS at MAX.

Any idea what I might do wrong?

you'll need to use the 'map light' knob on the pilot side knee panel.

    Hi it's me once again,
I noticed that in the Longitude with the latest fix, the strobes no longer shut off when you turn off the "anti-coll" button in the cockpit. For the Longitude, the beacon starts automatically when you try to start the engines, but the strobes (named "anti-collision" in the Longitude) are turned on by pushing the "Anti-Coll" button.

Also, I love how you have the light fixture actually light up. That's how it used to be before Asobo messed it up, I can't tell why. But with your mod, it's now lit up like it should be, but the top fixture is not.

I'll send you pics to show what I mean.

in order to achieve "underside/T-tail LED red/white beacons flash in sync along with white tail flasher to match real aircraft" a compromise had to be made "beacon lights flash red and white to maintain sync (anti-collision button bypassed)" as noted in the change list.

Fair enough. But what about the other issue, the top LEDs on the light fixture not illuminated like the bottom ones? Are you able to fix that (see the pics I sent to you)? Thanks again.

On the longitude, the landing lights no longer work with this mod. Also in my opinion the light bleeding off the panels is way too bright. Look forward to improvements.

just checked the landing lights, they work for me (overhead buttons). these lights have not changed. see if you have a mod that conflicts with this one?
thanks for your feedback, keep in mind that the light isn't just bleed off from the panels but also bounce back off surfaces like the yoke, the pilot, and glare shield down back down to the panel, etc. let me think about it.

Kuro Didn't make the B789 we at Horizon Simulations did

The title inside the manifest file for the Kuro 788 says "787-10 Dreamliner" instead of "787-8 Dreamliner". Not a big deal but might confused a few who use Addons Linker.

Do you individually select from the Asobo_VC_light_pack4p0_UNdat.zip file what planes to place into the community folder or do you place the entire Asobo_VC_light_pack4p0 folder into the community folder?

choose vr or non-vr user's folder. within each folder there are light mods for each airplane type. place those airplane specific folders in the community folder.

Thank you for your reply eatpizza2.
Yes that is what I did and it is very nice indeed. Correct me if I'm wrong but the only changes affected are the 2 light controllers; the map light knob by the pilot's left knee and the flood light knob up above? One thing, how do I use this for flying both VR and non-VR flights at different times since the folder names are the same for each of the airplanes?

lights affected depend on the model. some are minimal, some are extensive like the 787 and 748. as for vr and non-vr, you would need to decide which way to go.
