    Description

    Official GSX Profile for EGTE (Exeter) freeware Scenery by superspud.

    A comprehensive profile featuring:

    -ANIMATED DOORS thanks to the assistance of superspud (make sure to upgrade his scenery too, it's linked below)

    -Vehicle and passenger configuration on all passenger gates (2-11).

    -Separate walk-in routes for arrivals and departures.

    -Custom pushback paths with direction stated at all gates.

    -Custom stop positions compatable with DHC6, ATR42/72, BAe 146, B737, A320, Emb170/175

    -Correct handling and catering agents for the gates. 

    -Correct gate names in GSX menu.

    For the simplest install, use Drag&Drop Installer for GSX Pro Profiles, found >>HERE<

    Otherwise, extract the .zip and move the .ini AND .py file inside to the following route:

    \Users\Your Username\AppData\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS

    Ensure you only have one profile per airport.

    Hi, I am having a couple of issues with this profile. Non of the stands are walk in stands and if I go to check the waypoints, there are none. Also for the Ifly Max if I reposition it puts me in the road? TIA

    I have found and fixed the issue. Redownload and install again and should be fine.

    I'm new to custom GSX profiles, under the afcad_path = EGTE.bgl is it okay to leave it like that? Or do I need to add the full path?

    Example:

    //?/"M:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MicrosoftFlightSimulator\Community\airport-egte-exeter-superspud GB Europe\scenery\EGTE.bgl"

    My mistake, it would be \\?\M.....EGTE.bgl

    You dont need to worry about afcad paths anymore. Just use the file as downloaded. GSX removed that need a lot of updates ago.

    The doors are controlled by the scenery so make sure that you have the latest version of that.

    Thanks for the great profile. I see the passengers walking to the aircraft but I am not seeing the doors open, the passengers walk through closed doors. I do have the lates version of Superspud's excellent airport profile loaded. Any suggestions as to why this is or how to rectify?

    The door opening animation is part of the scenery so i'll have a test myself and let you know!

    Just tested it and all is working fine! Double check you don't have duplicate profiles (maybe use the installer ;)) and re install the superspud scenery.

    Thanks very much for checking. I appear to have it working now. I deleted the dynamic cache file via the options within MSFS and the scenery index .dat files. Renamed the community folder and removed the Superspud scenery for safe measure. Loaded MSFS and shut down. Restored tthe community folder and reinstalled the Superspud scenery. Something in those actions sorted the problem.

    Have tried all the passenger gates with an ATR and an A320, but each time passengers arrive by bus instead of walking out from the terminal.

    Is there a setting that I have to adjust within GSX or some other tweak I have to adjust?

    Have also uninstalled and reinstalled and double checked that I'm placing the files inside the correct directory.

    It sounds like the profile hasn’t installed as passengers shouldn’t be arriving on buses at all. Make sure you unzip both files into the correct folder?

    Pls disregard.

    I discovered that I had not, as I thought, deleted a previous EGTE.ini file!

    My bad, PEBKAC as they say. All working as intended now.
