Description
Introducing the missing helipads in Bergen for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024:
- ENBG - Grønneviksøren Heliport
- ENBI - Sandviken Helipad (ENSA in MSFS2020 because of duplicate ICAO)
- ENBX - Haukeland Hospital Helipad
Installation
- If you already have one or more of these heliports installed, delete them.
- Drop one or all included airports in the pack, into your MSFS Community folder
- Enjoy!
Recommended addons:
- Bergen Features to have Haukeland Hospital helipad be correctly placed.
- Bergen Heliport Fix to add a dolly and more
Known issues
MSFS2024
- The Sandviken Helipad is named "Bjorli Airfield" in MSFS2024. I've not managed to override this weird name issue, but the helipad works and is placed correctly.
- You need to select parking explicitly when trying to spawn on Haukeland (ENBX), otherwise your helicopter will spawn under the helipad.
MSFS2020
- There are terrainspikes when approaching the helipad. These disappear when you get closer. Know issue in MSFS and is on roadmap to be fixed by Asobo.

Bergen Helipads
Add the missing helipads in Bergen, Norway: Grønneviksøren Heliport (ENBG), Sandviken Helipad (ENBI) and Haukeland Hospital Helipad (ENBX). These helipads are mostly used by the Norwegian Air Ambulance, except the one in Sandviken which is private. Enjoy!

Hi fellow helipad hero :). I have added support for your add-on to my "no conflicts" file in my mega-pack of Norwegian helipads. This way, people can have my pack + your add-on without in-sim conflict :). Cheers! BR, f99mlu

hi, nice scenery but its not possible to spawn on them with the H145 because its not a rotorcraft in msfs. You can only spawn on helipads with a rotorcraft.

Thank you for the feedback, but that's honestly a HPG H145 issue rather than this scenery. HPG need to update their helicopter to be compatible with SU11 to be able to spawn at helipads as it's firstly introduced now :)

Very nice to fly around Bergen and the night light are awesome. Will be seeing you around. Vatsim had a lot off DOC missions today 🙂

Thanks for your feedback :) I've noted down the issue with ENBX and working on a fix. Regarding the POI/Airport question. There's some hacks to achieve this, as you describe as well, I'll see if it's worth it, but preferably I'll wait for it to be fixed in NOV'22 MSFS update when Helicopters will get official support. Putting in runways does mess with some terraforming at times.

New Haukeland looks awesome! But would be nice if you moved the current parking to the middle of the helipad (on top of the H) and put another one in front of the garage :)

No longer possible to spawn at ENBG for some reason, but ENBX still shows up as a landmark
