    About

This section collects freeware helipad and heliport scenery add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, created by community developers from around the world. Helipads are an essential part of the rotorcraft experience in MSFS, and community add-ons fill a significant gap left by the default simulator — adding real-world landing sites that range from hospital rooftop pads and search-and-rescue stations to remote mountain helipads, harbour facilities, offshore platforms, and private or military installations. Each add-on typically features accurate placement, custom 3D objects, proper lighting for night operations, and dedicated parking positions. Whether you fly air ambulance missions, coastal patrol routes, or simply enjoy low-level helicopter flying, a well-stocked collection of helipad add-ons dramatically expands the operational possibilities of any rotorcraft. All add-ons in this category are available free of charge.
