    Description

    KSBA Santa Barbara is one of my favorite airports.  I've got most of the buildings, but since I'm using outdated satellite imagery, this scenery will not be up to date and does not look like the actual airport does today. The traffic control will do some strange things such as routing aircraft in a loop back onto the runway just to exit at the taxiway they originally used to exit the runway. This is a bug in the AI system and I don't have a clue how to fix or don't think I can fix it. Players will also be routed in loops to get to their paring space. I'm using AIGAIM, but the default AI traffic will give you more planes. I decided to use the glass jetway which are not animated.

    FYI ALL - If you have problems with the scenery loading and have jd-Airport_Flags, you must also have tsr-windy-things in your fs2024 community folder. Just tested at KLZU without windy-things and the scenery hadn't loaded after 4 mins.

    My Load times - your load times will probably vary, but should be close.
    -- Default enabled (Online, Air Traffic Type set to Real Time Online, Graphics, Global Rendering Quality, Traffic Airport Quality and Air Traffic set to High) about 20 secs.
    -- FSLTL AI enabled (Online, Air Traffic Type set to off, Graphics, Global Rendering Quality, Traffic Airport Quality and Air Traffic set to off) about 20 secs.
    -- GAMod AI enabled -- (Online, Air Traffic Type set to Real Time Online, Graphics, Global Rendering Quality, Traffic Airport Quality and Air Traffic set to High) about 3 mins. -- (Online, Air Traffic Type set to AI Offline, Graphics, Global Rendering Quality, Traffic Airport Quality and Air Traffic set to High) about 2 mins. -- (Online, Air Traffic Type set to off, Graphics, Global Rendering Quality, Traffic Airport Quality and Air Traffic set to off) about 2 mins. -- If you have other mods that load at this airport, it probably will effect load time. -- If you have a long load time with the default settings, I don't know what could be causing it, unless it's the surrounding scenery that load from the cloud.

    Having the same issue unfortunately (no traffic or anything enabled, high settings with around 30 secs normal load time)

    If you have jd-Airport_Flags istalled, you also need tsr-windy-things in the fs 2024 community folder.

    I gotta say, your KSBA scenery is en par with ORBX KSBA if not, better. Very well done from what I remember. Now that you added fully functional animated jetways, if you also got custom runway textures as ground if I recalled correctly, then I gotta say, your scenery beats ORBX KSBA and that's a payware. Going to download it again soon and compare it.

    Thanks, I have been working on this scenery for XPlane 9, P3D and finally MSFS 2020. It's one of my favorite locations. I don't like spending money on scenery so I decided to learn how to do it myself.

    Awesome job! Very detailed and full of personal touch. Doesn't look like an enhanced generic MSFS airport due to the certainly huge amount of work provided.

    Does the self serve has changed since my 2016 visit? https://flic.kr/p/KjGvyu I didn't find in your scenery these huge yellow poles protected the tank. But this is really minor.

    I've de-activated the Orbx KSBA and can't wait for further personal enhancement ;)
