This file contains hospitals in the NY/NJ area. Includes helipad lighting, navigation, departure locations, scenery, and some improvements to the hospitals listed below.
If you would like a hospital in this area added please include IACO from AirNav of hospital with 00.000000,-00.000000 style coordinates and comment on this file. Please keep it to hospital helipads only.
If you would like me to create a helipad or parking area outside of this area or non-hospital, please complete a Community Request and then send me the Title of your request so that I can find it and accept the job. Small way for us modders to earn some karma on this website for doing work.
Installation:
Remove and previous "nynjh" folders then extract place the new nynjh folder directly into your Community Folder
Method #2 if having issues with helipads and lights not showing. (Unconfirmed if works)
1. Download NYNJH - Project Folder (this should have all the information like the helipads and lighting base files) and place in Packages Folder (...\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages) should be 1 level up from the Community Folder. The Community Folder should be visible if at the right level.
2. In the NYNJ Project Folder go to "Packages" folder and copy "nynjh" folder and place inside the Community Folder.
3. See if that corrects any issues of enhancements not being available.

There are already several helicopters for FS2020, including the excellent Hype Performance Group Airbus H135 (freeware) and H145 (payware)

As a virtual-heli pilot in NY I already use some of these pads as they are in the game but this will be a huge improvement. If you want to add the New York harbor unit (at end of Keegan rd close to pier 4) and the one on the roof of the port authority of NY/NJ building (on JFK blvd east by the Lincoln tunnel - jersey side) that would be cool too - but I am already stoked to add this to the mix. Thank you thank you! :-) PS there are a few other pads I could point out too that could use some love but I am not pushy....This is a GREAT addition and I am appreciative!

Thanks for the input, however this package will contain mostly Hospitals. If you would like other helipads that are not hospital. I would suggest go to Community top menu and submit a request. That way developers can get Karma points for doing them. If there is one you would like me to work on specifically you can send me the link to your request after you submit it.
