Description
This mod applies exclusion polygons to areas covered in water in order to uncover them. It also removes erroneously placed trees around water areas. No scenery objects were added.
This mod fixes the following issues to the default scenery located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, USA.
I do not use other freeware or payware in the area, so I don't know if this conflicts with other third party mods.
V1.1 Release Notes:
- World Update XIII compatible, as functionality of Water Fixes was broken in SU12
V1.0 Release notes, fixes the following areas:
- Corrects issue of various roads and bridges appearing underwater from the bays and inland areas. Corrections were done on stock bridges (not mods/freeware/payware); I do not have other bridges installed for comparison. Florida is a MESS, and I'm sure there are spots I missed.
- Uncovered various docks, ships, marinas in and around Biscayne Bay
- Restores visibility of Newport fishing pier
- Removed trees from ships and cargo along water areas
- Uncovered some small islands
- Basically everywhere you see RED in the screenshot, I uncovered water or removed vegetation

Worldwide Water Fix (WIP)
This add-on is a work-in-progress project for MSFS 2024 focusing on correcting water elevation issues encountered globally. The developer addresses problems as they are discovered during flights rather than systematically reviewing every location. Users can expect ongoing updates to enhance water accuracy throughout the simulators lifespan.

Will this work with the google replacement mod?

I don’t use them so I have never tried. Another user has confirmed that they work fine.
This fix simply removes water and trees from where they shouldn’t be.
