    Description

    This a work in progress project for MSFS 2024.

    I'm correcting every water problem I'm finding while traveling around the world. I don't inspect every country to find all water elevation problem, but as soon as I encouter one, I note it and correct it. So be sure several updates will follow to add more corrections as long as MSFS 2024 will exist.

     

    Ce mod est un travail progressif pour MSFS 2024.

    Je corrige chaque problème d'élévation d'eau que je rencontre durant tous mes vols autour du monde. Je ne vise pas à parcourir chaque pays pour spécifiquement trouver des problèmes mais quand j'en vois je les note et les corrige. Soyez assuré qu'il y aura plusieurs autres corrections à venir il qu'il y aura plusieurs mises à jour du mod aussi longtemps que MSFS 2024 va exister.

     

    KNOW ISSUES VERY IMPORTANT

    There is something different with MSFS 2024, I can't change hydrobases and oil rigs altitude when I lower the water level, so please don't blame me and if you know how to do it, I would really appreciate.

    This addon is really nice! Could you please take a look at Vistula river near Bydgoszcz? The river should be flat, but it is strangely terraformed

    I already fixed the river on it's total lenght. I inspected again the area you are mentionning and I don't see any problem at all. Send me a picture please to see what you get.

    Well, it turned out that I accidentally deleted your mod and that's why I didn't see the fixes on Vistula river. Now I reinstalled it and everything is looking great.

    This addon is awesome, thank you! I hopped into the sim to check out a couple problem areas that I knew of, and one appears to have been fixed by Asobo but the other is still atrocious. Just offshore from the airport at PAFE Kake, Alaska, there's a huge wall of water. You might not notice it immediately if you look from the shore, but if you move northwest a mile or so and then look back southeast along the shoreline, you should see it -- or if you land on the water just southwest of the airport, you can't miss it.

    Also noticed someone else mentioned Skardu. I've flown the rivers from Gilgit to Skardu a handful of times, and the Indus does have a lot of elevation issues - although it's better in 2024 than it was in 2020.

    Hello! big thanks for your work, you should for sure be assigned a role inside microsoft's flight simulator developer program. I'm not sure if it would give you too much work, but could you have a look in "furnas dam - brazil"? the name of the river is "Rio Grande" and it would be cool to see the water fix atleast until the main housing complex called "escarpas do lago". In the image I highlited the part that would be cool to see it fixed. The hydroelectric power plant is a POI in MSFS with the World Update Brazil, so you can start there and go through the dam, until "escarpas do lago". Thanks in advance !

    I double checked the area and now I see you are not talking about the river itself but the terrain of th city. Sorry my friend, I'm fixing rivers and lakes but I don't terraforming mountains.

    Merci pour la mise à jour. Je vais ajuster ma scène de Saint-Raymond pour la Saint-Anne et la Bras-du-Nord. Je suis en train de finir la Batiscan (canots, chalets, quais, etc, le tout dans la scène CSK5) mais je n'y vois pas de problème d'élévation. Plus des problèmes de décalage de rivière sur la rive à corriger, ce que j'ai fait la pluspart du temps. Aussi, je vais pouvoir démarrer ma version été du Parc de la Jacques-Cartier basé sur ton récent ajsutement de la rivière.

    Exactement, je corrige moi aussi les déviations des rivières pour ne pas qu'il y ait d'eau sur les rives. La rivière Ste-Anne était beaucoup comme ça tout comme la Jacques-Cartier. Il n'y a plus vraiment de problèmes d'élévations au Québec, je corrige plus les rives. Je déteste quand l'eau monte sur les bords. Il arrive souvent aussi que je sort des iles qui sont sous l'eau tout comme des barrages également. Juste une petite note, je n'ai pas encore touché le Bras du nord, je vais le faire dans les prochains jours.


    D'ailleurs c'est pour ça que j'écris AMÉLIORÉ au lieu de CORRIGÉ. Le premier c'est surtout d'enlever l'eau sur les bords alors que l'eau c'est plutôt de travailler des problèmes d'élévation.

    My recommandation if you want visit a superb river in Quebec, try Jacques-Cartier river by starting at Donacona.

    Ma recommandation si vous voulez voir une superbe rivière au Québec, faites la Jacques-Cartier en commençant à Donacona. Elle est vraiment superbe.

    Oh thank you so much. I love doing this even if I spend lot of time. Fixing a river can take 3 to 4 hours depend the lenght. But I like the result once done.
