This is Zion Canyon National Park scenery V1.0
Most of the well known locations are included:
- Zion Canyon Overlook
- Observation Point
- Angels Landing
- Zion National Park Lodge
- The East Temple
- The West Temple
- Canyon Overlook
- The Sentinel
- Mountain Of The Sun
- Church Mesa
- Hepworth Wash
- Canyon Junction Bridge
The East Temple terrian height has been corrected as it was set too high in the default scenery.
Due to the limited SDK tools at the moment you cannot land on the scenery, & snow textures will not show.
I am hoping that in future versions I will be able to include this.
I will also be uploading a version in which the colour blends better with the default scenery, so you can take your pick.
The file size is large so it may take longer to load this scenery prior to flight. I have noted only a very small hit to FPS, much less of a hit then in city areas with photogrammetry.
I have added a Point Of Interest marker so it is selectable from the world map "Zion National Park" to view the scenery
**Installation:**
Simply extract the file "zionnationalpark" to your Community Folder.

The model is absolutely amazing and has great colours but the collisions dont work on the entire thing

Smith Mesa Airstrip (ICAO unknown)
Grassy Meadows Airport (ICAO - UT47)
Saint George Regional (ICAO - KSGU)
Hurricane Airport (IATA - 1L8)
Plus many many more... just use Google Maps to search for Airports Nearby Zion Canyon National Park, Utah.
Some will be in Utah, many will be in nearby Colorado state.

Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. Colorado isn't close to Zion.

The west walls look great, but the east side has a weird purple cast. I also have a significant performance hit and have to reduce settings. Better looking than the default, though.

Works fine with SU8, at least on my machine. Great work, love the mod. The terrain is noticeably better.

The addon works with the latest update (SU7), but it needs some optimization work.
Even with a good PC and with the add-on on an SSD, with ultra-high settings, the FPS drop is important while caching the scenery while flying.

Great work! Yesterday my friend and I flew through Glacier National Park in Montana's Rocky Mountains. It was draw-dropping beautiful. Would you consider adding this to your scenery beautification mastery?

Really nice, trees are rough when you get up close but from about 10 thousand feet looks great! Does cause me somewhat of a framerate drop over the stock terrain but not bad. Overall a very good addon!

I know how to "play the game". I've been using sims since FS1 in 1982. I have a capable computer and this kills my frame rates also. If it isnt killing yours, consider yourself lucky. And knowing or not knowing how to use a sim has absolutely nothing to do with your computer's ability to handle high density graphics.

Those terrain spikes you saw are worldwide since the latest sim update. I'm sure that a fix will be released soon by Asobo.
