    Description

    This adds back in the missing Seaplane Bases around Ketchikan, Alaska.   If there was a dock visible or a marina visible in the satelite view, I have added it to the scenery.

    In this volume I have added the following SPBs:

    Do any of them have start positions, for C&D starts? I haven't found one yet.

    A nice addition to the scarce water runways in that area. Thanks for that.

    I am going to use it for a group flight and I think it is a shame that no parking spaces have been created at some (larger ports). Perhaps a reason for an update?

    I nocited that the Return To Misty Moorings added a lot of the same Seaplane Bases that are in this pack and in your Vol 2 pack. Is there anyway you can make a pack from your vol 1 and 2 packs with only the ones missing from their Misty Moorings Seaplane bases pack ???     At many of the water landing sites, there is a crash in the middle of the water because you supposedly collided with an object. But there was only water there. How come?


    To be able to land, I had to disable collision damage in the options. Now it works.

    Bei vielen der Wasserlandplätze gibt es mitten auf dem Wasser einen Crash, weil man angeblich mit einem Objekt kollidiert ist. Dort war aber nur Wasser. Wie kommt das?

    Um landen zu könnnen, musste ich in den Optionen die Kollisionsschäden deaktivieren. Nun funktioniert es.

    Ich habe keine idee. die Start- und Landebahnen sind Wasserpisten. Es sollte nichts im Wasser sein.

    13Z is the first one I flew to from PAKT, and the docks are on-land. Is this related to a recent update?

    I could not find any scenery near KXA and the piers at KTB seems to be under water. Is this caused by the World Update or is something else going on? HYL looks fine.

    FYI: All of the runways are classified as asphalt, if you set the filter to only display airports with water runways, they don't show up.
    When you select the airports, the runways are listed as "N (water) - 6001 Ft of Asphalt" to use WSB as an example.

    How about George Inlet Lodge in the next volume? (Great crab feed there!)

    There is no seaplane base at George Inlet, but that is a great place to land. All that means is that you can fly into there and out again, but you'll have to start somewhere else. There is no registered base there. It's so close to Ketchikan that its a great flight!

    I id not know that. I've flown in there on Tacquan Air for Crab after sightseeing Misty Fjords. Thanks for the info.
