SVSP - Sub-Teniente Nestor Arias San Felipe Airport in Yaracuy State in Venezuela (Airport Improvement)

The Sub-Teniente Nestor Arias (ICAO: SVSP) Airport is a regional airport located 4 miles south of San Felipe, the capital of the Yaracuy State in Venezuela. Today it has very light traffic mainly for general aviation. It has an area with small-scale military operations, mainly with helicopters. It has no night operations (even the airport is modeled on MSFS with some basic runway lighting for those who like to fly at night and try landing at this airport).

The airport is located in a very green valley not far from the north-central coast of Venezuela and the city of Puerto Cabello. Winds predominate from the northeast and are normally very strong with high moisture content. During the rainy season, the site is well known for large storms that develop with a lot of rain. There is a saying that someone was traveling by road and asked a local resident where San Felipe was, and he said, go ahead and if you barely see a place where it rains a lot, then you are sure you made it to San Felipe.

SVSP has only one runway (04-22) on asphalt, 4,909 feet long. The preferred runway for takeoffs and landings is RWY04.

The airport has a non-directional beacon (Ident: SPE, Freq: 230.0) located not far from the end of RWY04, on its left side, and it is represented in this scenario. 

This version adds the big water tower that is located in the vecinity of the airport, to the right of RWY 22, illuminated at night, for more realism.

INSTALLATION:
- Unzip the file
- Place the two included folders in your community folder (you should already know where it is, right?). Please check to maintain the folder structure.
- Fly and be happy!

NOTE:
It is recommended to have the MSFS Premium version installed to ensure that all included objects appear in your sim. Other versions (Standard and Deluxe) will work, but some items may not appear.

This airport was remodeled in 2014, one-year and a half after I took my pictures in 2013. Some, but not all of the 2014 changes or additions were taken into account for this version of the airport in MSFS, mainly due to a lack of precise information and details.
