Virac Airport is the only airport serving the island province of Catanduanes in the Philippines. It is located in the capital, Virac. The airport is classified as a Class 1 principal (major domestic) airport by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, a body of the Department of Transportation and Communications that is responsible for the operations of not only this airport but also of all other airports in the Philippines except the major international airports.

On October 27, 2013, Cebu Pacific launched the first ever Airbus flight in Virac.

RPUV YEAR 2006 Version (Alternative):

The addon was a personal work for me and I just decided to finish and upload this version of Virac Airport that what it was in April 2006, before the Typhoon Durian (Reming) destroyed most of the facilities and big rehabilitations took place. I created this version of the airport using from all what I remember during my childhood days, I tried to make it look detailed as much as possible, to replicate the environment where I used to grow up and inspired me to become a pilot. I hope you enjoy this alternative version as much as I do. Thank you for all of your support!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

• Please make sure to DELETE the MAIN VIRAC (RPUV) Addon File before placing this alternative version to the comunity folder.
• The Airport has a SHORTER RUNWAY compare to the MAIN Virac Airport.
• The GSX Profile Addon for the main file might not work on this version, please consider making a new type of file specificaly for this version.
