Description
Bowman's Beach Helistop (4FD9) is a helipad located on Sanibel Island, near Fort Myers, Florida. The helipad is a utility pad, operated by the Lee County Mosquito Control District. The helipad was also featured in the movie Day of the Dead (1985).
Bowman's Beach Helistop has been created from the ground up using default MSFS objects and materials, as well as some custom objects and vegetation, which have been added to the scenery with the integration of Emerald Object Library. Trees around the heliport property have been redone for greater accuracy.
Requirements
Installation
The included "esd-airport-4fd9-bowmans-beach-helistop" folder should be placed into your MSFS "Packages\Community" folder. The scenery will load the next time you start Microsoft Flight Simulator.

can I ask why the font of this zip is blue? Just seems a little strange. However, thank you for the helistop!!!

... I have no idea. Never seen or heard of anything like that happening. Did you use 7Zip or WinRAR? Could be a system setting of some sort I guess, but yea. Definitely news to me.

6 months later, but I finally stumbled across the answer to this, so figured I'd update this question..
For WinRAR users, the folder may appear blue because it carries over NFTS compression settings from what I assume is my RAID server, since I run NFTS compression on it. However, the compression flag seems to go away once it has been extracted.

please save as a good old fashioned zip file.

I lived on Sanibel for a little over a year with my sister, who has a house there. Not sure if she still has it, as we aren't in touch anymore. Simulation is the closest I ever want to be to Sanibel again.

Are you talking about the old Buckingham airport (FL59)? I'm looking at doing the other helistops on Boca Grande and Pine Island as well.
