    About 62 km (33 nm) southwest of Bella Coola is a relatively narrow and short gravel runway called Helen's Fright on a ridge. Due to the short runway and the numerous trees around it, only experienced bush pilots should approach Helen's Fright. Choose your aircraft wisely and pay attention to wind strength and direction. Approach and departure are only recommended from or to the west.

    Elevation: 2428 ft/740 m
    Runway: 07/25 - 755 ft/230 m Gravel

    The following object libraries should be installed for best results.

    COMPATIBILITY

    * Helen's Fright is only partially compatible with the Bella Bella package from quelcertoleo (https://de.flightsim.to/file/18567/bella-bella-cbbc-british-columbia-canada). If both are to be used, the quelcertoleo-bc-elevation-data-lidar folder with the LIDAR data must not be installed.

    This is the most challenging, and toughest airstrip, I think, I have ever encountered. After trying about 7 times, with 7 different aircraft, I still managed, to make the roughest landing, ever.     Hello, thank you for your comment. Try the Savage Cub. Landing shouldn't be a problem with this aircraft. In addition, an object library is probably missing. The owners of the hut are nowhere to be seen ;-)

    This airstrip is amazing, can't believe it's real. One issue: I see a hawk sitting in mid-air, halfway up the windsock.

    My bird always sits on top of the gray bar (see user gallery). If you like, deactivate all sceneries except Helen's Fright and the required libraries. Does it work then? Does anyone else have this problem?

    Tried taking a Twin Otter there from Rivers Inlet.

    On the bright side, we stopped. Another bright side, the large rock is perfectly capable of stopping an aircraft at 40kts.

    What a hellish airfield. I love it.

    Love it mate! However in my version the crooked wood tower on the rock is missing for some reason.

    Please check whether you have installed Dave's Crooked Library [https://flightsim.to/file/4696/dave-s-crooked-library] correctly. The wooden tower is included there.

    Hi man,

    Nice Airport, but just a thing:
    Since the newest update, MSFS didn't load with your airport (the other ones are working, just this one.

    Maybe you could fix that, I'd appreciate that :)

    Sorry, I cannot reproduce the problem. Perhaps you will try the scenery without the object libraries to isolate the causes.

    Thanks. I've done a couple of airfields for RTMM. As far as I know, they haven't switched to FS2020 yet.
