Don't go expecting great art or anything. This is made from stock items and there'll still be loads of gaps and burn ins.

This is more for looking at from a distance and it doesn't cover a vast area either, primaily the one container area and indeed this is mainly about containers. Lots and lots and lots of them.

I enjoy a good container. I will assume you do too. There's some cranes too but I personally don't feel as strongly about them.

The nearest harbours have some boats added as well.

This works fine with FreakyD's Hong Kong mod - https://flightsim.to/file/6981/hong-kong

V 1.1 removes the cheesy cranes to fit with FreakyD's update. If you don't have it the original with cheese is now the second download.

completely destroyed my simulator... took 20 minutes to load and I was getting 30 fps in world map and lower in game. And this wasnt just looking at hong kong

please delet those cranes in the port! die Flight Simulator has already the original container cranes. Besides that its a nice Mod!

Very good and your latest version works fine with FreakyD's recent scenery. Keep up the good work all ! Just one tiny thing - this is exclusively a container terminal so no LNG or other tankers berth there, they park up at the dangerous goods piers on the South of Tsing Yi Island 😊

It takes a little finding as there are other Crane areas just before it but without your Crates. No idea what is real on the island near this Airport but there are loads of roads and empty spaces. It could do with some modern Mod for whatever is there now also.

I've left the rest of Hong Kong to the HK Master - https://flightsim.to/file/6981/hong-kong this was done to fill a hole that annoyed me for another mod.

I think the Kai Tak area is supposed to wind up a fancy residential, sport and shopping zone. It may be a long time before it gets updated in this officially so it may be down to this site's inhabitants to do something about it.

Thanks. I opted for ORBX over that one. In my mind it's the most impressive and enjoyable ever done. It's because of it's geographic location and low misty hills. Incredible place to see.

Hallo Superspud,
habe mir heute am 12.05.2021 den Port Hong Kong herunter geladen, und im
Cummunity-Ordner gelegt, so wie viele andere auch schon. Leider kann ich dort keine Container entdecken, aber die Kräne mit den Gebäuden von FreakyD sind dargestellt, habe ich zusätzlich danach eingesetzt. Muß ich die Vorversion v1.1 einsetzen, dann erst die neue V1.2 ? kann ich die Vorversion v1.1 noch bekommen ? danke

Try pasting the folder with this name - 'scenery-port of hong kong-superspud'

There's no difference between the versions apart from cranes or not cranes. V1.1 was a mistake as it still had the cranes.

I don't own it, but I can see in a photo they have cranes at the docks but no containers so the main version of this should fit. Worth a try.

I own the payware HK scenery.
HK port in the scenery is not much to look at.
This add-on of superspud enhances the Samscene3D scenery.

By the way Mr. Superspud, while I am a big fan, don't forget to fill in the manifest.json file! Especially the fields: "title", "creator" and "package_version". These are very handy in programs like MSFS Addon Linker for sorting and version checking. Spank!

I challenge somebody to make a pack of containers... kind of like the coffee cup fad. We could do with hundreds of different types of containers for superspud to plonk down in ports all over the world. Rusty ones, new ones, dented ones. There is scope here for real uh art!

The lack of variety was the most taxing thing about it. Lots of rotating and juggling to break it up. If someone plonked 1000 container models on me I'm not sure how I'd feel about it, but something might emerge.

I'm off to bed so I dunno until the morning. It looks like that is entirely major buildings. I could be wrong. I haven't added any buildings.
