I/ Additional buildings:
Manhattan, New York City:
The mod adds three recent "pencil tower" that are missing or incomplete in the vanilla game: Central Park Tower (completed in 2019, 1,550 feet/472.4 m, second-tallest building in New York City, the United States, and the Western Hemisphere; the 15th tallest building in the world), Steinway Tower (also known as 111 West 57th Street, completed in 2022, 1,428 feet/435m) and 432 Park Avenue (completed in 2015, 1,396 feet/425.5 m).
The mod also adds One Vanderbilt (completed in 2020, 1,401 feet/427m) and the Jenga Tower (also known as 56 Leonard Street, completed in 2017, 821 feet/250m).
NEW in v0.2: The mod now covers Hudson Yards, a 28-acre (11 ha) real estate development in Manhattan between the Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen neighborhoods. 30 Hudson Yards (completed in 2019, 1,270 feet/390 m) is the sixth-tallest building in New York City and features a triangular observation deck, known as The Edge, jutting out from the 100th floor, with a bar and event space on the 101st floor. Next to Hudson Yards, One Manhattan West (completed in 2019, 996 feet/304m) is located at 395 Ninth Avenue on the West Side of Manhattan.
NEW in v0.2: VIA 57 West (marketed as VIΛ 57WEST) is a residential building at 625 West 57th Street, between 11th and 12th Avenues, in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. The pyramid shaped tower block or "tetrahedron" rises 467 ft (142 m) and is 35-stories tall.
NEW in v0.2: 200 Amsterdam completed in 2021, 668 feet/204m) is a residential skyscraper at the intersection of Amsterdam Avenue and 69th Street. The tower contains 112 condominiums and stands as the tallest building on the Upper West Side.
Brooklyn, New York City:
The mod offers an updated version of Downtown Brooklyn featuring in particular the Brooklyn Tower (completed in 2021, 1,067 feet/325m, tallest building in New York City outside Manhattan) and 11 Hoyt (completed in 2021, 618 feet/188m).
Queens, New York City:
The mod offers an updated version of Long Island City, featuring in particular the Skyline Tower (completed in 2019, 762 feet/232 m), Sven (completed in 2021, 762 feet/232m) and Tower 28 (completed in 2017, 637 feet/194 m).

Manhattan, New York City:
-Woolworth Building: this 792-foot-tall (241 m) neo-gothic residential building in the Tribeca neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City was the tallest building in the world from 1913 to 1929, and remains one of the 100 tallest buildings in the United States as of 2024.
-40 Wall Street: also known as Trump Building this 927-foot-tall (283 m) neo-Gothic skyscraper located in the Financial District of Manhattan was erected in 1929–1930 and was the tallest completed building in the world for one month beofre being topped by the Chrysler Tower.
-David N. Dinkins Manhattan Municipal Building: this 40-story, 580-foot (180 m) building located in the Civic Center neighborhood of Manhattan was built between 1909 and 1914 to accommodate increased governmental space demands.
-Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse: this 37-story courthouse located just next to the above was designed in the Classical Revival style. It opened in 1936.
-Consolidated Edison Building: this neoclassical skyscraper located in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan serves as the headquarters of energy company Consolidated Edison, also known as Con Ed. Upon completion in 1929, the building's design was lauded by local media, and its "Tower of Light" became a symbol of the local skyline.
-Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower: colloquially known as the Met Life Tower, this skyscraper occupies a full block in the Flatiron District of Manhattan in New York City. The tower, constructed between 1905 and 1909, rises 700 feet (210 m) to its pinnacle and was the tallest building in the world until 1913.
-New York Life Building: this 615-feet (187 m) tower is the headquarters of the New York Life Insurance Company. Constructed in 1927–1928 with Gothic Revival and Art Deco influences, the New York Life Building is distinguished from the skyline by its gilded roof.
-United Nations Headquarters: located in the Turtle Bay neighborhood and completed in 1952, this complex was designed by a board of architects led by Wallace Harrison and built by the architectural firm Harrison & Abramovitz, with final projects developed by Oscar Niemeyer and Le Corbusier. It holds the seats of the principal organs of the UN, including the General Assembly and the Security Council.
-One Worldwide Plaza: this 778 feet-tall (237m) tower is the largest of Worldwide Plaza, a three-building commercial and residential complex in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan. The classically inspired building was built between 1986 and 1988 is topped by a pyramidal copper roof with a glass lantern.
-Rockefeller Center: this complex covers 22 acres (89,000 m2) between 48th Street and 51st Street in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. The 14 original Art Deco buildings were commissioned by the Rockefeller family and were described as one of the greatest projects of the Great Depression era. Completed in 1933, 30 Rockefeller Plaza is a skyscraper that forms the centerpiece of Rockefeller Center. It is 850 feet-tall (260 m).
-Waldorf Astoria New York: this luxury hotel and condominium residence in Midtown Manhattan is a 47-story 625 ft (191 m) Art Deco landmark designed by architects Schultze and Weaver and completed in 1931. The building was the world's tallest hotel until 1957.
-St. Patrick's Cathedral: this Catholic cathedral in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City is the seat of the Archbishop of New York as well as a parish church. Designed by James Renwick Jr., it was consecrated in 1910 and is the largest Gothic Revival Catholic cathedral in North America.
-Metropolitan Museum of Art: colloquially referred to as the Met, this encyclopedic art museum is located at 1000 Fifth Avenue, along the Museum Mile on the eastern edge of Central Park. With 5.36 million visitors in 2023, it is the most-visited museum in the United States and the fourth-most visited art museum in the world.
-General Grant National Memorial: this classical domed mausoleum, located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Upper Manhattan, is the final resting place of Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th president of the United States, and of his wife Julia.
-Riverside Church: this interdenominational Church, located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, was conceived by philanthropist businessman and Baptist John D. Rockefeller Jr. in conjunction with Baptist minister Harry Emerson Fosdick. It was completed in 1930.
-Cathedral of St. John the Divine:located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, this cathedral is an unfinished building, with only two-thirds of the proposed building completed, due to several major stylistic changes, work interruptions, and unstable ground on the site.
-Manhattan Bridge: this suspension bridge crosses the East River in New York City, connecting Lower Manhattan at Canal Street with Downtown Brooklyn at the Flatbush Avenue Extension. It has a total length of 6,855 ft (2,089m) and was completed in 1909.
-Williamsburg Bridge: this suspension bridge crosses the East River, connecting the Lower East Side of Manhattan with the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. Originally known as the East River Bridge, the Williamsburg Bridge was completed in 1903 and, at 7,308 feet (2,227 m) long, was the longest suspension bridge span in the world until 1924.
-Dakota Building (NEW in v0.2): The Dakota is a cooperative apartment building on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It was constructed between 1880 and 1884 in the German Renaissance style. Notable residents of the Dakota have included Lauren Bacall, Leonard Bernstein, Boris Karloff, Roberta Flack and John Lennon.
-The San Remo (NEW in v0.2): this cooperative apartment building, adjacent to Central Park on the Upper West Side of Manhattan was constructed from 1929 to 1930 and was designed by architect Emery Roth in the Renaissance Revival style. Notable residents have included Warren Beaty, Glenn Close, Rita Hayworth, Dustin Hoffman, Mick Jagger, Demi Moore, Steven Spielberg, Bruce Willis and Tiger Woods.
-Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (NEW in v0.2): often referred to as The Guggenheim, this art museum on the Upper East Side of Manhattan hosts a permanent collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, early Modern, and contemporary art and also features special exhibitions throughout the year. It was established by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in 1939.
Brooklyn, New York City:
-Court Chambers Building: also known as 75 Livingston Street, this 30-story 343 ft (105 m) residential cooperative tower in the Downtown Brooklyn neighborhood was built in 1926.
-Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower: also known as One Hanson Place, this skyscraper located in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn was constructed from 1927 to 1929 as the new headquarters for the Williamsburgh Savings Bank. At 41 stories and 512 feet (156 m) tall, the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower was the tallest building in Brooklyn until 2009.
- Soldiers' and Sailors' Arch: this triumphal arch at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn was built from 1889 to 1892. It commemorates American Civil War veterans. The monument is made of granite and measures 80 feet (24 m) tall.
-Coney Island Boardwalk: also known as the Riegelmann Boardwalk, this 2.7-mile-long (4.3 km) boardwalk on the southern shore of the Coney Island peninsula in Brooklyn runs along the Atlantic Ocean and was opened in 1923.
Queens, New York City:
-One Court Square: also known as the Citicorp Building or the Citigroup Building, this 50-story, 673-foot (205 m) office tower in Long Island City, Queens, was completed in 1989 and was the tallest in Queens from its completion until the topping out of Skyline Tower in 2019, and for many years was the only skyscraper in Long Island City.
Bronx, New York City:
-Yankee Stadium: this baseball stadium is the home field of Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees and New York City FC of Major League Soccer. The stadium opened in April 2009, replacing the original Yankee Stadium that operated from 1923 to 2008
Hudson Valley (NEW in v0.2):
-Lyndhurst Mansion: this Gothic Revival country house that sits in its own 67-acre (27 ha) park beside the Hudson River in Tarrytown was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966.
-Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge: aka Tappan Zee Bridge, this twin cable-stayed bridge spanning the Tappan Zee section of the Hudson River between Tarrytown and Nyack is 3.1mi/5km-long.
-Kykuit: also known as the John D. Rockefeller Estate, this 40-room historic house museum in Pocantico Hills was built for oil tycoon and Rockefeller family patriarch John D. Rockefeller.
Albany:
-New York State Capitol: The capitol building is part of the Empire State Plaza complex on State Street in Capitol Park. Housing the New York State Legislature, the neo-Renaissance building was completed in 1899 at a cost of US$25 million (equivalent to $774 million in modern dollars), making it the most expensive government building of its time.
-Alfred E. Smith Building: known officially as the Alfred E. Smith State Office Building, this Art Deco skyscraper has 34 stories and is Albany's second tallest structure (after the Erastus Corning Tower) at 388 feet (118 m). Completed in 1928, it houses offices of the New York State government.
-The Egg: this performing arts venue built between 1966 and 1978 was named for its shape.
-Erastus Corning Tower: this skyscraper was completed in 1973 and at 589 feet (180 m) and 44 stories in height, it is the tallest skyscraper in the state of New York outside of New York City.
Buffalo:
-Buffalo City Hall: this 32-story Art Deco building is the seat for municipal government in the City of Buffalo. Completed in 1931, the 398-foot-tall (121.3 m) building is one of the largest and tallest municipal buildings in the United States.
-McKinley Monument: this 96-foot (29 m) tall obelisk defines the center of Buffalo that all of the main roads converge on. It was commissioned by the State of New York and dedicated September 6, 1907 to the memory of William McKinley, 25th President of the United States, who was fatally shot while attending the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo on September 6, 1901.
-Old Erie County Hall: this historic city hall and courthouse building was constructed between 1871 and 1875, with its cornerstone being laid on June 24, 1872. The building has four floors and features a 270-foot high clock tower. City offices moved to the Buffalo City Hall as it was being constructed starting in 1929, and the building now houses Erie County court offices and records.
-Seneca One Tower: this 529-foot (161 m) skyscraper was constructed between 1969 and 1974, and contains over 1,200,000 square feet (110,000 m2) of space. Today, the 40 story building still dominates the Buffalo skyline.
-Rand building: this skyscraper is the second tallest building in Buffalo, New York. At the time it was built in 1929, it was the tallest in the city at a height of 405 feet (123 m). It has been suggested that the Rand Building was the inspiration for the Empire State Building.
-Electric Tower (or General Electric Tower): built in 1912, this historic office building is the seventh tallest building in Buffalo. It stands 294 feet (89.6 m) and 14 stories tall and is in the Beaux-Arts Classical Revival style.
Syracuse:
-Syracuse City Hall: unusually for civic buildings in the United States, the city hall was constructed from 1889 to 1893 in the Romanesque Revival architectural style.
-State Tower Building: completed in 1928, this high-rise building remains the highest in Syracuse. It has around 23 floors and is around 312 feet (95 meters) tall.
-JMA Wireless Dome: originally the Carrier Dome, this stadium located on the campus of Syracuse University is the largest domed stadium of any college campus, and the largest domed stadium in the northeastern United States.
New York: POI and improvements

If you don't have SamScene NY city time, here is what you can do to make yours compatible with SamScene's: make NY Manhattan aera as a separate folder from all the other area, therefore users with SamScene NY can remove your NY Manhattan folder and still use all your other area.
