Description
Reading Regional Airport is located in southeastern Pennsylvania about 50 miles (80km) northwest of Philadelphia, serving the city of Reading and surrounding communities. The field is named for famed World War II general Carl Spaatz.
History:The airport was opened in 1939 and regular airline service began in 1941 when TWA started daily service. From 1943 to 1946 the field was used by the military as Reading Army Air Base.
In 1946 airline service returned with TWA setting up a flight school for training international crews and Colonial Airlines began regular service to Washington and Montreal.
In the 1950 Reading Air Service started aircraft maintenance meetings at the airport which grew into the world-renowned Reading Air Show. At its peak in the 1970s the show was second only to the Paris Air Show in size. The airshow was discontinued in the early 1980s.
Today:Reading Regional no longer has regular airline service (although it does maintain a terminal for charters). It is however an active general aviation hub. The Mid Atlantic Air Museum is located at the north end of the field and is a must-see for fans of vintage military and civilian aircraft. Every June the museum hosts its popular World War II weekend hosting aircraft from all over the country.
This addon was built using custom models for all buildings on the field as well as a few nearby structures where the MSFS autogen was absent of inappropriate. NOTE - The aircraft parked on the Mid Atlantic Air Museum ramp are representative of some of the planes that MAAM owns (such as the Vickers Viscount and PV1 Neptune). The liveries are not correct as I used objects from various 3rd party libraries (see dependancies below). Additionally many of the museum's aircraft are missing as there was no model available. Hopefully when I am better at modeling aircraft in Blender and can paint liveries, I will update the MAAM collection.

One bit of feedback: When I tried to start in the GA Large parking spot (N Parking 2), my plane loaded inside the parked Neptune, and trying to push back just resulted in a crash. A minor thing to keep in mind if you do an update.
